Was about to come comment about how I love the energy in the video and general content, but the mispronunciation were majorly pulling me out of it. I'm glad I took the time to read the other comments and I appreciate you being forthcoming with where this comes from. I'll definitely give the other CoS videos a listen.
I made the vampire spawn into musicians who play music at the festivals. They are leveled monsters with class features and look like the Lost Boys. The party won't know they are vampires until later at the Feast of St Andral event.

Is it wrong to be upset at the pronunciations of the names?
Not at all! But be warned, I have dyslexia which means I cannot process phonemes, so it is never going to get any better 😅 So if it does trigger you, I might not be the person to watch.. which is totally understandable!

My party hated the burgomaster the day they met him that they used the assassin mirror to kill him...before they met lady wachter and before the blazing sun festival. I've got a lot of improving to do

Va-lla-kI, the ephasis is on the last syllable, not the second syllable. The pronnounciation matters.
Thanks! It is difficult for Americans because we always emphasize the second syllable in a multiple syllabic word 😅
@@HalflingHobbies I am sorry Hannah, I misspoke. I meant to say on the second syllable, not the last. As in "Shitaki". You are putting the emphasis on the first syllable. Now I feel like I am being petty. Great video, though!

When playing Curse of Strahd, my best advice is to just run through the game like an a-hole who just does not care if they live or die, as long as they make things as worse as possible for all the bad people in the world along the way. Which is most people. Attack NPCs just immediately and watch the DM squirm trying to figure out what the means for the larger story.
Note, I do not recommend this for any other adventure AT ALL. But Strahd is a game with like 95% horrible people everywhere, so go nuts. Make Strahd pissed because you're messing with his shitty kingdom. Why not?

"Great, let's kill her."
"What? Why?"
"Anyone who is thriving in Barovia has to be an evil piece of shit, Strahd isn't just letting good people prosper. So, okay, we killed her. Now what?"

@@DannyBellTheAuthor DM - arrests you for murder and has you locked up, if you resist, town turns against you, if you kill the town, the monsters invade en masse. If you beat monsters Strahd comes to kill you for murdering his small village. I'm sure a qualified DM will be able to work around this stuff.
