from the two concert "Liszt Marathon"March 6, 2011 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts Fort Lauderdale Florida Miami International Piano Festival www.miamipianof... MISHA DACIC piano
MISHA DACIC is my great hope for the future of ROMANTIC piano style. He makes the piano truly SING and has a wealth of virtuosity. So many other pianists have virtuosity in spadefuls but CANNOT SING (e.g. Lang Lang and Yuja Wang) They cannot SHAPE a piece so as to be emotionally affecting.
No it is first version of and for the piano duo version of the CONCERTO PATHETIQUE which is wonderfull performed with duo Martha Argerich and Nelson Freire.
Okay performance, but why the horrible improvised end? This piece suffers so much at the hands of pianists. They are a lot less certain of how to handle it than more known works like the Sonata. I think I have only heard a couple of performances which manage to capture that inspired character the music has. Also, a fascinating piece to look at all the differing versions.
Finally! I saw a pianist playing this, and fortunately, Misha Dacic! Thank God !
Terrific. Both the (neglected) Liszt piece and the performance of it :-)

What an amazing piece of music! Very nicely played too
An amazing performance.
Excellent interpretation. And I like the video work.
Sheer magic!!!!
This guys has great resemblance with Liszt himself!
Thanks for sharing this!
This guy looks just like Liszt! lol
Bravo Misha!
His fingers move like Horowitz's! ahah
He is a great fan of Horowitz :D
And the sound of his interpretation also like Horowitz very much !
Fantastic ❤❤😱
A hard composition to find these days. A good one to show off your skills and wow the crowd
Steven Chambers I believe it resembles to the Liszt Sonata and the latter is more popular. So apparently this masterpiece is bond to be neglected.
+Li Zedi Yes, a precursor of the B minor sonata, but not so complex to interpret.
However with a much higher demand for technique
Yes, the sonata is more about stamina.

Weird hands, but works extremely well! Great sound quality!
He plays very well and without making faces.
Liszt coiffure.....appropriate
호로비츠 소리가 들리네..
ㄹㅇ
Not a great polished ending but still had charisma and boldness nonetheless.
Just two or three micro mistakes
He looks like Liszt lol
