First of all, I love your videos Larry. They have been so helpful. I ordered the fold and go kit last week. I couldn't find the middle shaft, so ordered it from somewhere else, but realized I bought the upper shaft. I called Dan at Outlaw Metal detectors and he was able to sell me the middle shaft, precut and predrilled. I talked to him on the phone, a super nice guy. You can now get the pre-installed version on his site as well.

That looks very good, I am interested in where to purchase. I would also like to say I have already added a device that will collapse the screen down into your arm reat which makes this completely flat to transport and avoid any damage to machine !

How much heavier does it make the detector?
Very little, I hardly notice the difference
Do u have a video on a telescopic shaft? I want to carry mine with me more since I travel a lot for work. Also any good cases you recommend?
I don't, sorry. As far as a case, a double rifle soft case works with the fold and go.
I just ordered this after seeing your video. I am curious, what is the knob attached to the shaft by the arm cuff on your detector?

how can I make the Equinox lighter?
It's already light but you can replace the shaft with carbon fiber
I really like this concept, seriously considering a purchase. However, it appears the ability to adjust over all length is limited to just one or two settings above and below the add on. I know the folded length is 32.5, but what is the minimal adjusted length when locked in place?
Full extension from grip to coil is 44 inches 39 inches at the shortest position
