    And just to add how amazingly awesome Jumping Jack has been with regards to customer service... when I bought my 17x6 in March of 2018 the local dealer never gave me the support bars for when towing RZRs or UTV's and also the legs for the table. When I emailed them they really came through and ended up sending me a new set of legs for the table and the support Bars free of charge. That is about as amazing as any company could be with helping their customers and I truly am grateful and appreciate it! Thank you Jumping Jack!

    Cool concept but how is it better than a cargo trailer and a regular tent?

    This is a lot like the way I think. I've been researching the stove jack idea, and some old-timers put 'em out the wall instead of the roof. I've seen some guys with outfitter tents putting spark holes in the roof. It looks funky, especially the way some guys will jury-rig the supports for an inclined chimney, but the idea is to get all possibility of sparks well away from the tent. It'll still draw good, as long as it's a steep-enough incline.
    Anyway, I've got lots of gear and don't need to but all that stuff all over again. Set up or stow away the tent and use the trailer for all kinds of hauling.

    Thats a great tent!!!! Wonder if the single axel one could be pulled by a RZR...... you could get to some pretty remote places and still be comfortable

    Ever have any issues with bugs getting in through those holes where the bed extenders look like they go through the tent to attach to the frame?

    Heard you mention you want to install a stove jack, did you ever get around to doing that? thanks!

    What's your average time setting up your whole camp with this trailer/tent? I'm interested in the 6x12 with 8ft tent.

    Why was it wet inside? Seems like a real hassle to have to dry out the carpet and the inside.

    How are the windows in foul weather, rain and snow, for waterproofness?

      Just curious, would you smell gas from a four wheeler in the tent if it leaked?

    How well does it hold up to Winter weather. Can it stay very warm with a buddy heater? Or wood stove?

    • @TinesUpDotCom
      @TinesUpDotCom  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      We use them often in the Fall when temps get down to 0-20 degress. We use a buddy heater and it works awesome. I am looking into installing a stove jack. I have seen a few guys doing this..

    • @4WillyD
      @4WillyD 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TinesUpDotCom well maybe it's just me but I would stay with the buddy heater if you can. We used a stove in our tent last elk season. With all the other work, taking fire off the list would be a big help.

      Tines Up I would love to see a nice wood stove setup in these. I have a 6x8 and have been tossing around the idea. I want the 6x12 with 8 ft tent blackout edition so if I get that one this 6x8 will be my experimental one.

      @@4WillyD : Gettin' firewood ain't no thang. I like havin' me some propane heat, but I like to stretch the propane as far as I can, so it's always there. That means firin' up the wood stove.

      Bill Peirce sorry-we aren’t on here all the time. I’m not 100% sure on the price but you can contact a local dealer and they can quote you.

    • @tannerboy92
      @tannerboy92 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This one is over $10k I believe. A standard non blackout edition 6x8 is $7k. Find a used one! It’s a beefy utility trailer and a wall tent. It’s not gonna go bad anytime soon.
