Justine, one thing you may consider looking into is what’s called the Paleo Autoimmune Protocol. It’s a temporary elimination diet that we in our own house (autoimmune) saw amazingly wonderful health results from. Aka remission in 1 month with no signs of active inflammation and that has continued for 8 years so far. It may be a place to start, and if nothing else, something to try for a while to see what happens.

How about putting orange marmalade in between two of them and then covering them with chocolate! Cardamom goes well with citrus and what doesn't go well with chocolate!😀 They definitely had different tastes in spices in the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries. I've seen recipes including sugar, cinnamon, ginger and mace in omelettes!

Did you get your A1C checked? Sugar can cause a lot of UTIs. Diabetics get a lot of them. The day before you don’t feel well, what did you eat? High carbs convert to sugar too.

I'm sure a bunch of people commented this but lead tastes super sweet, so the lead paint chips taste really good actually haha so kids just start eating them like crazy without realizing it. Some ancient drinks were actually sweetened with lead which is insane and clearly died out in popularity lol.

Guineas are awesome for tick control if you want to add that to your homestead flock 😊 for tick bites, or any other bug bites/stings for the matter, it's good to have a paste of bentonite clay on the ready (bentonite clay and water mixed together. Just make sure no metal comes in contact with the clay. Glass, plastic or wood is fine). Put some of that on the bite and let it dry out. It will pull out anything the bug may have left behind lol it works very well! I have a jar with the mixture in my medicine cabinet on the ready.

I know what it feels like to constantly wait for an independent contractor who communicate poorly. Relieved that he hasn’t yet been paid. Usually, that type of person will return when they need the money or no longer have other contracts going on at the same time.

We hired a guy to roof our house and my man gave him some money (a lot of money) for materials, never got a roof and he has apparently did this to a lot of people, after court still out and about.

My brother has Lyme’s disease . It effects his joints . Most days he’s fine . Some days he has to see the doctor for a flare up . Feed the painter guy the cookies .
Yes, I’ve grown up in old houses and it is just like using cast iron. Don’t cook acid foods and most people have lips. Use your lips to clean your utensils when you’re eating

Could Justine be allergic to the metal in the pots, etc.? Some people have a nickel allergy. Or maybe some herb or spice? One of my friends was allergic to cinnamon. Or cosmetics? If I wear any kind of lipstick or lip gloss, my lips and mouth get a rash.
I think the age of the recipe seems a bit british. The brits biscuit is like American cookie. I think this recipe called cookie is similar to American biscuits kwim

😂🤣I tried a sweet recipe one time of cookies and child, she may have liked them, they tasted nasty. It was a small town not in US. They were vegan and they looked easy enough to prepare, I had to throw them all away. I thought for sure looking at the recipe they would taste good. Nope. The cooking time was off, so I cooked them longer, I just came to the conclusion she liked raw dough, because the cooking time changed nothing.
