I bought this same exact model this summer and honestly its the best guitar and the pickups are incredible! The clarity, push/pull pots, and no longer have the humming from passive pickups. Amazing guitar
Just bought one of these over the epiphone les Paul 1959 special and the cheaper Gibsons. Best decision I’ve made in a while this guitar plays like a dream and sounds even better
I acquired an ESP LTD EC 1000QM with Evertune Bridge in January 2020. It's a beautiful Guitar. Plays like a Dream. Very high quality instrument. I just recently bought a 2020 ESP LTD PHOENIX 1000 in Vintage White... Looking forward to unboxing it and playing when I get home.
I sold my 1995 esp custom shop eclipse ii, for $500 at the pawn in 2011, I bought my ltd deluxe ec1000 for $600 last year and it's a way better product. Also sold my gibson. These guitars are where it's at.
@@srh361 New Gibson guitars are wannabe trendy trash now and not worth the price. Stop shilling out for the companies that don't care at all for the players who have been playing them for decades. Are you seriously going to buy a modern? WTF is that for?

@@jamestrodden6017 I had the older Honey Burst with the duncan pick ups and got rid of it. One of the best sounding/playing guitars I've ever owned, and I've owned a lot! I regret it too! @@ARsAndGlocksOhMy I did end up buying this very model guitar from Musician's Friend. The bridge pick up failed after a week, so I sent it back (my review is on the M.F. website). Was really disappointed as the guitar was stunning and felt great. Wound up with a Gibson SG modern. Very happy with it.
@@faustogamez9208 thanks Fausto. I've just sold my Les Paul because I wasn't basically playing it anymore due to the weight/uncomfortable shape and lack of versatility.I would like to replace it with a HH single cut instrument and was truly intrested in the LTD,what's your advice?
WOW WOW That's so exciting that's one bad 🎸 I love it man I got to try and get one . Lol TroyFrost / Troyster 😎 CoolRiffs 😎 Cool 🤘 🤘🤘 esp LTD 🎸 for ever Love 🎸
I'm interested in this guitar so i don't know if it sounds good or not but the satin finish on the maple makes that guitar looks cheap. Proof is that on the ESP site the pictures absolutely not look like a satin finish but more like lacquered because it looks better. And what about the stupidity to make a full-thickness chambered LP type guitar? Just make a slimmer one and it will be the same.
@Quiksilver Awesome review, man. I was hoping it would have a bit of weight to it. I was looking at the Vintage AFD or V100s and doing some mods, but why do all that if and when something like this already has a great feature set. Cheers!
SAINPHONY I wouldn’t consider that a humble opinion, what you said is what is considered to be a FACT, I really agree with you... if there’s relief then it would be considered a modern Les Paul type guitar, by the way ESP makes the best guitars ever!
It's not a Les Paul, regardless. They sound and feel in the SG range just as much as they do the LP range. They're fun guitars and obviously they're marketed to be sold as an LP alternative but there's a lot that goes into a good LP that an LTD just doesn't do (weight relief included) and that's fine because the inverse statement is also true.
These guitars are cool but I don’t like jumbo frets, too easy to pull out of pitch, always sounds a hair sharp. Also it’s not really a ”traditional” les paul. Wood veneers and poly finish. Plus having the fancy electronics is just asking for problems if you ask me. The battery never runs out on passive pickups.
this was my last guitar pickup, was going to get a gibson, so much happier with this
Me too toughguy, me too
Same here, but got this guitar instead. It's a badass guitar
This is a beautiful Guitar. I'm quickly becoming a fan of ESP LTD Guitars
The Open-Core pickups really sound so much alive!

Wow. What a versatile guitar... So many sounds
Thanks so much for doing classic rock tones. I get it's geared toward more for the metal crowd as every demo on the planet is all hi gain.

Can you make a demo for the Silver sunburst one
Please make a Viper version of this!
Uooooooh!!! Good sound magic guitar, but amps used in this video?
Is there an estimate on how many different ec1000 releases there will be this year?
it really is over for gibson.

Said the moron!
It's been over for Gibson for DECADES !! lol I've played Japanese Ibanez Artists from the 70s that blow the doors off USA-Made Les Pauls!

I bought the EC1000FM tiger eye and took out the awful fluence moderns and put these pickups in. Heaven!!! Better looks and 24 frets!
Please bring the LTD EC400AT Back! :(
I had a gold top 400AT and a 400VF and loved both
Voice 3 is very convincing
Sold
What about the Weight? The Neck is slim taper? Thanks in advance
Flamen kito it's chambered so it's lighter.
Neat guitar.
Such a beautiful guitar! Could you please tell me the country of manufacture? Thanks!

22 frets only please!!!!!

I thought this was Devin Townsend for a sec lol
What country are these made in?
Bob Bill Nolan Russia
Errrr no, they’re not
SDMF : even this guys photo is irritating... I don’t get the joke, Russia? Why is that clever/funny???
Back of the headstock says Indonesia.
SDMF : I was talking about you, you bell end
Archie Cruz brought me here
So who has one of these??
Quiksilver and how do you like it? Compared to other LP style single cuts? Does it feel substantial or cheap?

@Quiksilver "a 12 year old girl's first acoustic guitar" - what does that even mean?
So it’s not thinner then a Gibson 😂 that’s the reason I like the ec range
So pretty much "voicings" is just split coiling or hunbucker from what I'm hearing.
How could be "traditional" made chambered? ;) IMHO, traditional LP = solid weight, no relief.
Who cares? People that say they can notice a tone difference are lying to themselves.

Wish they wouldn't chamber guitars. Nice guitar though!
what do you mean "chamber"" guitars???
5th Floor it means they hollow out specific chunks to make it lighter to hold, actual les Paul’s are SUPER heavy
