Great video Jamie, over the decades I've seen so many people break valuable tackle through loading their trolleys or barrows incorrectly and having it go over on them 👍
Remember the good old days when I used to bike to a canal or a river basket at the back on the carrier rods were tied to the crossbar that was it the amount of Kit hi I’ve now unbelievable
great video i use a 2 wheel trolly as i go in the car with my lad we used to struggle just getting the 2 seat boxes in car and everything but we now take my seatbox and share our gear he uses a carp seat thats got a side tray and rod rest i keep telling him we need a van next on the list lol
Great video and great idea with the stink bag on the trolley handles, I’ll be borrowing that idea! Swap the bungee for a ratchet strap and you’ve got a cracking set up there.
Got the MAP XL 4x4 which i thought I packed very well. However you have given me the answer to 1 issue.I now extend the foot Plate of my Matrix 36 Pro and Bingo. No more issues. By the way where do you store your rollers? Thanks for the Eureka moment Jamie. 👍
Hi Jamie I think you forgot the kitchen sink 😂 but like you said we all take loads just case 😉 how do you find the matrix trolley on uneven groud as I have the preston one that's coming to the end of it's life after putting 2 people tackle on it not good poor thing and was thinking of a new trolley
One of the carp tackle brands (I think its Trakker) do a bungee with hooks, but it has a tensioning block in the middle. Similar to both styles mentioned - elasticated, but adjustable.
Agree, ratchet straps are far safer than bungees. The elastication of bungees also makes the load less secure. A set of straps off eBay for about £5 is a sound investment.

Nice one for the video Jamie. Good tip on the stink bag on the handles and levelling out the gear for the rods 👍🎣

Why do you use it as the short one? You can make it longer.More place for side trays and nets

😂😂 We all carry too much don't we! It's been great mate but mines 4 years old and still going strong 👌
Watch those bungee straps, if they snap or fire back they can do some serious damage to you. I use a ratchet strap instead
Great bit of advice mate 👌
