That why I love and caution about silat move, it prone to instant kill if not practice and patience with it. It always desired to win or to live.. Life look so cheap infront technic than it left to user to control it.
This is a Drill to Train correct physical responses not Actual Combat. If distance is maintained properly then your attacker should have to take a large step to hit you, I have never seen a swordsman lunge only to do multiple light stabs. The multi stab attack [IM Exp] always will be in a close quarters fight, as in grappling or something like that. Maul has appropriate training drills for that as well. I have quite a playlist of Mauls [and others] videos on my chan, feel free o check them out.,
