The 35W GE with the wire seals on both ends is a first-generation lamp from the early 1980s. The 35W and 50W lamps which were introduced in 1983 used this construction. I have two 50W lamps, both in clear and diffuse coated versions, and a 35W diffuse-coated lamp, all from 1983 and in NOS or nearly new condition. Later all Lucalox lamps would have a single wire seal on the bottom and an external amalgam reservoir on the top.
The LPS bulb with a short fat ark tube may be a ceramic high pressure sodium vapor bulb. GE MAKES SOME BULBS. I have a GE 150 delux bulb that has a CRI of 65. Colors look very good under this light. It does work on a regular HPS ballast. Try one out.
i find it strange to see that the philips 70w hps lamp has an arc tube that is as long and thin as a european 70w hps lamp. Could be underdriven on normal us 70w S62 ballasts.
Ossi Osram here is an example of a european 35w hps lamp on lighting gallery: www.lighting-gallery.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=2797&pos=2&pid=149532
The reason the 200W HPS lamp exists is it produces roughly the same amount of light as a clear 400W mercury lamp.

Thanks for the information! Glad you have some early examples in your collection, they are hard to come by!
