I noticed in the china youtube video's the air quality is good, in the past there was a lot of smog. I think the electric vehicles have helped improve the air quality. China is a beautiful country, and beautiful people. I would like to go to china for a holiday some day.

Give your bro half a dozen good pairs to take home to practice (w/ friends). The 2 sticks need to have a space between them, use 2 hands to separate them if necessary at the beginning. Eventually u will be able to pick them up auto separated w/ one hand. That's how I forced myself to finally do it (& eat) the proper way in my 6th grade. Easy eating most everything is the best payoff. There are many Chinese families in which not a single member can properly handle the sticks . My aged friends included.

I lived in Western Cape for two years, which is a safer place compared with other areas in South Africa. I'm a Chinese. I know exactly why they keep mentioning the safety issue. My aunt-in-law, a south-African woman who lives in the same city as Lizzy's brother, got tied up at her own home when people broke in and stole their things. Thank god they didn't rape her or hurt her, but still a horrible memory for her. The camera of our neighbour also caught three guys checking our house one night, which was so scary. My husband never let me go out by myself and we are even in a relatively safer area. So, yes, Lizzy has all the reasons keeping mentioning the safety. However, SA is a beautiful country, with nice people (most of the normal people). People there also asked me what I like and don't like about SA. I always say load-shedding is not a good thing. So, beautiful country, nice people (I'm not a racist, but I have to say I'm a little terrified by some of the black people there), not good infrastructure, terrible sense of safety. Strong and wise legal system keeps people behave, and in time they may become naturally well mannered. Every country can do that, and if it is not doing that means that leadership has more interest in corruption than wellbeing of the nation. This is a very simple true.
