Hey I just found out about your channel today and it was so interesting I watched every single video and subscribed in 3 hours. You make really great videos and you are very talented. Hopefully, you would also be interested in watching some videos on Micahistory 2 as well and I hope you can upload a new video soon
Thanks man I really appreciate it! I was actually one of your subscribers from your old first Micahistory channel and I’ve been watching your current one as well, which is quite good! (I especially like your “Joseph Stalin versus Leon Trotsky” series)
@@nicoiannacone6464 oh shoot, I forgot. Hahahaha. I feel so embarrassed now loool. I guess I had forgotten about you in all the chaos since I got banned. Anyways as I said, I watched all your vids and they're great. I hope you can come back one day. Also, I am starting a new series and i am uploading right now so something new should be out in no later than 2 hours. I assumed you subscribed, right?
Yeah I am subscribed to you on this account and my other personal TH-cam account. I am in the preliminary stages of making a documentary about the Battle of the Bulge, with the 75th anniversary coming up. I am aiming for it to come out on the 75th anniversary of the start of the battle, on December 16th. Although I’m not sure if I’ll finish in time, but I’m hoping so. I was thinking of trying to have animations and stuff in the video, but I’m staying away from describing it too much before I finish it
@@nicoiannacone6464 wow that sounds super cool and interesting. I love the (insert amount of) years later kind of things. And it will be great to see new content from you. Also, I subbed to you on my personal account as well because you deserve more than one subscriber!
It took me 15 months to make. I started on September 1st, 2017 and finished it on November 24th, 2018. Of course I took breaks in between and I had school and an inconsistent schedule. However I stayed up past midnight several times and a few times I stayed up working on it as late as 5:30 AM, it was very time consuming work
@@nicoiannacone6464 Good job man... If you ever try to make an upgrade I suggest it would be a nice idea to have one separate window just to follow single major battle happening at that certain moments (like You did with video window and 2 windows with text... And my second suggestion would be to find a proper music. This one is good, but not superperfect. Another idea is to start not with 1 September 39 but to follow what's happening since like 3-4 months before and make music lauding... (like Hitler demanding Dantzig, Polish rejecting, Hitler announcing war etc Still, You made astonishing job! And I'm waiting for upgrade...

You know the Soviets were totally pissed off and were mobilising themselves to launch a counter attack on the Wermacht when they turned from purple to red.
Finland technically was never part of axis. Though allied to Germany countinuation war (1941-1944) was fought seperately as Finland never signed Tripartite Pact. I also think that Soviet color was kept the way it is to demonstrate more of Soviet Union's gains and how seperate Soviets actually were from western allies
It’s a great work, but Kiev Pocket was not the biggest encirclement. Dunkirk pocket (1,3m) and encirclment in Bohemia in 1945 (900k) were much bigger. And also, soviet operation in western Ukraine and Belarus in 1939 was not an invasion, because we just took our lands, which Poland annexed in 1920. These lands are now ukrainian and belarussian and I think, word “invasion” offends all eastern slavic peoples.
This is so good! You could use this in a class!
Simply the best WWII video out there, why youtube doesn't recommend this to more people
Operation Barbarossa: Begins
"The sacred war": automatically begins

Well... no
Hi
Hi Dr. Lui
♥️
Good, but I prefer that pre-allied Soviet Union should’ve been green and instead making the Finns the colour purple.
Finland should be the same color as Hitler's allies - gray.
The USSR was part of the Anti-Hitler coalition - it means it must be blue.
Finland technically was never part of axis. Though allied to Germany countinuation war (1941-1944) was fought seperately as Finland never signed Tripartite Pact.

It should be noted that a large part of Soviet Deaths were related the genocidal acts of Stalin against his own countrymen and women.
