- As we engage with complex issues, may we see the humanity in the other, in the stranger, in the person who happens to be on the opposite side of the aisle.

Welcome to the darkness
Fear will let you in
The root of all exclusion
Who is out and who is in?
Systems of belonging
Lock us in a cage
We fear those who are different
Refuse to see their pain
In the heart of every man
There’s a song that Love began
Oh love
Objectify the human
With anger, fear, and shame
Damn them with religion
And never speak their name
Comfort and illusion
Numb us to the pain
Cannot see our privilege
So we scapegoat and we blame
In the heart of every man
There’s a song that Love began
Oh love
As old as the world is, the struggle is
As long as the struggle lives, the world

The newest Disturbing Truth video on Lily Peters brought me here. Such a pretty song for a horrible case.
Me too...horrible case, beautiful song.
Same.
Mr. Black sure knows how to match a song to each episode that are so impactful. I don't understand how this amazing track never blew up on the charts as it rightfully should have!

This song goes so hard and has so much depth! Beautiful Voice!
I heard this song on The Disturbing Truth Channel , the Lily Peter's case & it infiltrated my soul immediately. Great lyrics and hauntingly beautiful music
One of the most beautiful songs I've heard in a long time. You must have a soul of gold to be sensitive enough to put these thoughts and feelings to words and music in such an amazing way. All so true. Be kind to EVERYONE and all living beings. You never know what someone else is going through
Thank you for glorifying God with your music. This is worship. I pray God continues to use your music to soften our hearts.
This is beautiful. Thank you so much for writing laments that mean something.
Música pura e simples que relata a verdade que é maquiada por quase todos ,
No coração do homem há uma canção que o AMOR colocou 🎵🎶
My new favorite group
It´s an amazing song. I think you can catch the message of the song, but also you can reflect about so mucho other topics. I´ve been working with homeless people and the lyrics are just so right for their history. Thank you guys, you are doing an amazing job. Keep that vision alive!
This song started play on a crime case I was about to watch! I immediately turned it off and started searching for the song! Wow this song is amazing! Beautiful voice 🔥🔥🔥

What mean this song?
It seems to me they are talking about people pointing fingers when we are all sinners and that everyone is loved by God and was created by God and that we should always keep this in mind. People suffer and are in pain and for most people they sin because of being misguided and seeking happiness or peace in the wrong way. It sounds like a reminder not to be like the Pharisees of Jesus’s day.
It seems like they changed and are going in another direction with the meaning behind their music. I'm not feeling it.
Oh dear. Seems to me like their themes of social justice is exactly what they've always been doing, and is an intensely right and Christian direction.
C'est le son que Paul Yves Ettien a utilisé pour sa vidéo "le réseau social".😋🤌
