God... Crisis City was SUCH A GOOD TRACK. ALL of it is incredible, and your remix is just as good. It's hard to catch that feeling of ruined, burning future in a sonic song, yet the original track, and your additions via the remix, are perfect at capturing the feeling.
the sonic franchise might not have the best games but it deffinetly has one of the greatest soundtracks. 06 is a perfect example of this. so i wanna say thanks for making this incredible remix of my favorite track from sonic 06, i really appriciate it :)

made a comment a while ago about how i think tornado section in this one goes way harder than in your later crisis city remix and it sort of cringed me out how i just left it at that. i wanted to clarify i think it might simply just be due to the speed of this one compared to the other. i definitely prefer the more fast-tempo versions in general. Both are amazing work though.
Part 1: Sonic run on the sity that full of flames he want to see it better to understand where he needs to be, while fully unaware that "something" already noticed him and pray on him like a predator. Part 2: Sonic found a skyscraper that somehow still standing and that's is his best option to look from above, but time shows in this era and the building is such a bad shape, that it's impossible to run on the wallfor quick access to the top, so he walk inside of it to get up the hard way. In that moment the creature finalized it's attack. Somewhere in middle of the climbing the building starts shaking and sonic starts to panic, understanding that he needs to climb it fast, or he will be buried under it. When he gets to the top, he sees giant tornado that coming in his way, crushing the building at the same time. Part 3: sonic quickly grab a metal debree and use it to slide on already collapsing building. When he gets on some solid ground he noticed that tornado throws the remaining parts of the building right at him, while moving at him at alarming speed. So Sonic does what he does best: run. Run for his life. But no matter how fast he runs, the tornado moving closer, destroying everything on its path. He can't outrun it and in the end he got caught by it. Screen fades to black. -Why do I always have to save you? CHAOS... CONTROL! Part 4: Sonic opens his eyes, not believing he's alive and well, and only then he noticed hedgehog in black and red. -Shadow?! Black hedgehog didn't reply, but only watching at the tornado that was already closing to them. After a while he finally replied. - Listen, Sonic. Together we can stop this. - Yeah? What do we need to do? - Run. - What? - RUN! With that Shadow runs towards tornado without Sonic. After a breath shock Sonic follow him on a full speed. After observing Shadow's movement he finally understood what they need to do. They began to do their own tornado, but the one that moving in opposite directions around those, which are after them. After they gained enough speed, they started to rise in the air, by their own wind, which finally started to stop the chaser. While they are doing it the notice that inside tornado flyes the giant creature made of flames. And it's not happy. It started to attack both invaiders , while they are dodging, trying to complete their attack. Finally after long and enduring battle they finished it and tornado that was made by the creature is stopped and it was sucked in by the attack that was made by two hedgehogs. After taking all the damage by it, creature flees to a giant volcano. Two heroes watch at this for a while and Sonic finally asked. - Are we following it? Shadow smiles and answer without hesitation. - Of course. We have a score to match.
Ignoring the memey glitchiness & meh story of Sonic 06, you have to admit that Crisis City was a sick level idea. A city in the future enrolled in fiery tornadoes decimated to the point that its very terrain has cracked apart, revealing rivers of lava within the chasms, with the only inhabitants being monsters of flame & magma born of a much larger, legendary one? C'mon, that's fuckin' brilliant.
Lemme get real. Sonic 06 is always overshadowed by buggy gameplay and rushed coding and programming. we got blaze and sliver. the plot of their future and going back to the past. the story was GREAT the goofy cutscenes make it even funnier
