You forgot to mention the C63 Black Series is just as special inside if you optioned the buckets & rear seat delete, this was also an option on the CLK Black Series as they originally came with the same seats as the C63 AMG Saloon.
Great review especially the explanation of the lineage of the Black series going all the way back to the SLK Black. Wow, 25 UK cars is a super small pool for future (hopeful) owners to draw from.
I don't know why people praise the CLK BS over the C63 BS which was better in every single way. I had a CLK BS and still have a C63 BS and the C is better in every aspect. The most fascinating BS though is by no doubt the SLS.

Black series was a “hey that CLK DTM was pretty hot, why don’t we do that for other models?” That’s how the black series was made.
