I stayed at the same b&b a few years ago. Great family runs the place. Fell in love with one of the puppies that lived there, Kino. I have been going to Moorea since the early 70s. It has changed a lot but it’s still wonderful

I love your series of videos guys. I went to Tahiti, Moorea and Rangiroa in 9/2022 and the whale diving experience was just as moving for me. I plan to watch some of your future travels.

Wonderful series of videos... my husband and I have booked our trip to Hawaii and French Polynesian Islands for next year, we will be staying at Le Taha'a and in Mo'orea as well but a different resort there, 4 nights in Bora Bora and 4 nights in Vahine...cant wait!❤❤ ❤❤❤

wow you were lucky with the drone. I flew mine in Tahiti and at the waterfall and it lost GPS hit a tree and I coolant find it. luckily it was a spark . and replacements are pretty cheap,. but it is the footage I feel sad about . oh well your whale footage is awesome. were there last week. and it was not whale season .

I think the abandoned location the drone landed itself was the old Club Med which, unfortunately, closed around 2014.

It's not on a beach, you have to wade out to it from the side of the road, just south of Ta'ahiamanu beach
Great animals lovers l totally agree with you, no to octopus its insane its like eating whales n dolphins, or pets, infact all animals deserve to live... if only

We didn't use Airbnb, we mostly booked through Booking.com, and the prices varied, some were around $100 a night, and the overwater bungalow was $1200 a night
Beautiful video! If you don't mind a question, could you please tell me the name of the song that starts around the 26:39 mark? It's a slow piece with piano and voice. The rest of the music in your video is amazing, but this piece really worked perfectly for your voice over and the visuals. We were there in 2010 and I hope to get back there someday. Thank you!

Why you dont go to the Belvedere … beautiful view… you can see the two bay of paopao and opunohu on top of the mountain
We did go there! But we didn't shoot any footage. There were a ton of people there blasting music through loudspeakers and it was raining :(
What tours did you book for the multiple days of whales? It seems like you booked more than one? Is there a benefit to booking different ones or is it better to book one?
Yes we couldn't decide so we went with three different companies! Moorea Ocean Adventures, Dr. Michael Poole, and Moorea Activities Center. All were great in their own way! Moorea Ocean Adventures with Matthieu was a private tour for the two of us so much more expensive but also a very personalized experience. The group tours were fun as well but just a lot more people around.
