This machine was sitting dead on a property that was sold and had to go. When that dirty word scrap was mentioned the disease we have flared up and we took it to a safe haven.
That's a type 51 backhoe unit on it, I believe less than a thousand 1010Cs with the loader frame were equipped from the factory with the type 51 backhoe, I saved one from the scrap heap myself, I just need to pick up the backhoe for it.
Catagator mine was worse then that one I bet lol. Zero maintenance done to it. The one I'm referring to is a dozer. But next on the list is the loader I have that looks identical to this one. Just don't have the backhoe for it. Check it out on my channel if your bored.

I am sorry HD-6 the 5 predates this machine and runs a Detroit, this has an Allis diesel in it, it’s a friend of mines. It’s a stout machine for sure, he has a dozer blade that is almost ready to go on to her.
I just completed repairs on a friend's HD-6 steering clutches. Talk about working in a tight spot! I had an HD-5 Ag Tractor with loader kit. Powerful machine! Used it to push a 13 ft brush rake. I miss it.....
Makes No Sense to drag it from near death trip to scrap yard, to just drag back into the woods. WTH is right some people dont make no sense. Any updates on this?

It still sets there waiting for work, but at least it ain’t shipped to China for weight. So I feel I did something worthwhile.

I have a 1010 gas. If the engine is okay, (???), it's saveable.
Lots of 1010 gas engine parts available. Be glad it's not a 2010.
It looks savable, I got the crankshaft to rotate a bit by pulling on the fan, we’ll see in another two or three years from now. Heheh!
