Out of all the Nicktoons this to me is THE MOST disappointing a sequel to Jimmy Neutron with modern technology could've been even better than the original but they just did NOTHING with it on top of that the iriginal idea was scrapped just because Nick didn't want an adult lead which really says something about who they're pandering to
The show was originally pitched as a show called Red Acres. It was about a fast food worker who crash landed on a planet with hillbilly aliens. Nickelodeon didn’t pick it up because they hated the idea of having an adult human lead.
When the show became Planet Sheen, the writers wanted Carl to go to space with Sheen but for some reason, they were told no. That's why Doppy is basically Carl, they worked around not being able to use Carl.
Sheen was one of my favorite characters! (Second favorite next to Jimmy) and I feel like this could’ve worked but SERIOUSLY? I’m aware the main character can be stupid as heck, I write characters like that all the time but Annoying to the viewers and annoying to the in-show characters are VERY different
Like Bro The moment I start watching planet sheen He just felt even dumber like he had zero smart moments in Jimmy Neutron he is Dumb but has his moments its just gave me lost hope
I wished ended with Sheen going home again a Emotional moment where everybody was so happy because they thought they were never going to see him again and dorkus having a happy ending after what he has been though in this show
And another thing They Make so much SpongeBob like I want this show to end and Spinoff lies when like this Nickelodeon Executive: Well if you love sheen So much you gotta love him in this Spinoff show Basically cash grabs
