Nice review, you hacked the Angewomon pose in the end so Kudos lol. I actually want both. And the cheapness of Angemon is comforting.
I haven't posed my Angewomon figure yet, but this justifies every fear I had when I unboxed it. Also, props for having both CSA D-3's. I wound up buying both without realizing they both have the same sounds in them, so I sold Kari's. Hopefully the Super CSA D-3 comes soon.
Next SHF... I mean, I still want an Our War Game MetalGarurumon, but if I had to pick, maybe one of the villains. Myotismon would be great to pair with Angewomon.
I hope the SCSA D-3’s do all 6 kids since they all have full evo lines and Jogresses. Considering the link tech that was used in the Scanners, I could see them being released in Jogress pairs starting with Ken/Davis then TK/Cody, Kari/Yloei

I think I'm going to replace Both (PINK/BLUE) wrapping pieces with custom wired ribbon. Should go a long way to help the articulation

I might have to get into the figure rise standards!! I used to get the dbz kits and wasn’t huge into them.. but these look great !! Are the figurerise Kamen rider kits any good too ??
The digimon kits are definitely a step above the DB kits I have. I’ve heard the Rider kits are also good, I just haven’t handled any of them directly yet
a neat companion piece to both Angemon and Angewoman would be Seraphimon, amd Ophanimon, hopefully both either as Figure-rise mode kits and not expensive S.H. Figuarts. or Lobomon and Loweemon as Figure-rise mode kits
I would definitely like to see Seraphimon and Ophanimon. And Frontier seems ripe for SHF and Figurerise with them being mostly humanoid and mostly the same heights
I wonder if a soft goods pink sash would help Angewomon out a lot. Hmm.

The Angemon is cool. It's sad that Angewomon didn't come out so well as an articulated figure though.

@@Soundout12 that's true me either but there is one thing I will say don't the other Ultraman part of the figure rise line look like better detailed ultra act figures.

I'm gonna hope out for they might do an Angewomon for the Figure-rise model kit line, cause 1. as you have demonstrated, it just can't articulate well at all, let alone hold any poses up & 2. that price point is not worth it for a figure that can't do anything except stand there.
Honestly, a FRS even underdetailed would be better than this SHF
Angewomon may have work as a model kit if it allows one to customize and sort of add thickness to the joints. In model kit form, they may have made the pink robe thingy a bunch of separate thinner parts with polycap joints or something like that and that might have worked better. I think the figurarts is kinda a wrong decision due to the build. I mean I wouldn't mind paying Master Grade Wing Zero Custom ver Ka price for an Angewomon model kit if it fixes all the issues. I don't even mind painting it if it means to give it the Figuarts quality of a paint job.
A model kit would have definitely been better in the end. I wonder if they could make another tier to FRS that isn’t Amplified but more premium like so they could have more details in the base kit
@@Soundout12 Probably not in this case. It's like an expensive high grade or those full mechanics kits.
@@rxzero00 Maybe they could do something like how the Gundam girls kits have pre painted faces now. I think the biggest detail concern is the digicode but even then, most people can paint that themselves. I definitely would like to see smaller wings that could fold up
@@Soundout12 The digicode could either be sculped and not painted or stickers. It would be totally fine as waterside decals I think but I prefer it sculpted. Not sure about the wings.
@@rxzero00 Waterslides on top of a sculpted code could work as well
considering angemon is shorter than metal greymon... probably but then weregarurumon is also shorter than metal greymon where as greymon and garurumon are about the same height ( that honestly always bugged me it's just garurumon standing up as a werewolf ) and metal garurumon and wargreymon are shown to be about the same height so * shrugs *

Honestly for all the Gallantmons we get, I’m shocked none of Guilmon’s other evolutions are represented with modern figs
@@Soundout12 I recently brought the premium colors of the gallantmon and alphamon and they feel a lot cheaper and lighter and less durable than the original that I used to own you have all of the gallantmon and alphamon do they feel like cheaper to you?
@@CHANBIBBIN I would say they’re a bit lighter weight than the older ones which is consistent with Bandai’s SHFs in general. I never had the original Alphamon, but the new Gallantmon not being as heavy has helped him hold his poses better

I'm glad they gave Angewoman her original anime look, because I was never a fan of the whole red lipstick thing they gave her in Digimon Tri. Some women even real life look better without over used lipstick or makeup.
I agree! Women don’t always need makeup and Angewomon doesn’t need it. Rosemon? Sure, that fits her beauty queen design. But Angewomon is more of a warrior
