    Have tied 6 of your "Commissioners" so far.
    But tied my 1st "Grassy Crab" today. It was
    meticulous and well done like yours except
    I spent 5-7x times longer than you do to tie
    them right. Thanks for your video presen-
    tations, sure makes things easier. Will tie
    at least 5 more of da grassy crab before
    moving on to the shrimp pattern.
    Tight Lines always,

      @@johnhollis3419 that's awesome. The more you tie, the easier they get. I'm glad you enjoyed watching.

    Great video. It tied up some of these patterns for a trip to Pensacola but I've found they work great for my local bass and carp.

      Thanks John. We try to bring you valuable information. Are fly tying materials hard to come by in the UK?

    • @johnharpin8039
      @johnharpin8039 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@InTheSpread Hi Jesse, saltwater fly fishing is in its infancy here in the UK so materials such as EP brushes and some types of synthetics and natural furs and feathers are not readily available. Keep up the videos, great to see the techniques you use.

    🌴really liked the video well done , since I primarily fish skinny water and next to mangrove trees that seem to jump out and grab your fly’s I’m going to have to make a bunch , sure would like to see your version of a mangrove crab as these seem to be a staple for sheepies and drum , tarpon are showing up out in Tampa Bay Area , what’s your favorite pattern for the big boys on the flats ? 🤔

    • @InTheSpread

      Hey man, thanks. For big tarpon, I like the tarpon toad or variations thereof. I haven't tied the mangrove crab. It's on the list

    Excellent flies. 1st 2 have a lot of materials and are labor intensive. Great shallow water flies , but given the significant materials involved I’m interested to know sink rate ?

    • @InTheSpread
      @InTheSpread  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's really going to depend on the type of line you decide to use.

    Hello In the Spread. I just found your channel and subscribed because of the flies you introduced. My friends and I are planning a trip to Belize and these patterns should work well. You describe the tying steps very clearly so the viewer will understand the process and materials needed. It’s a really long video though. Perhaps focusing on one pattern at a time will help keep the audience engaged for an entire view and keep your edits more manageable. Just a thought for your kind consideration. Very good job and I’m staying tuned for your future posts. Thanks and keep rocking! Tom T from NJ.

      Thanks for the feedback, Tom. I agree with the video length. I took this off our website www.inthespread.com and just added it here without cutting into smaller chunks. Perhaps I will for more convenience. Good luck in Belize.
