Use a string tied to rear hitch. Come around the back tire and straight to front tire. Get tire flat on the line both sides will get it close and then your method could dial it in really nice. The string gets you square to the rear tires. Thanks for tje video
Your videos are great!! And because you’re good with ATV’s I’m hoping you can give some advice. I just got a late 80’s Suzuki 125. When you turn the front wheels slide more than turn. What do you think is causing this? I’m gonna try to do an alignment based around this video. But it doesn’t seem to have a lot of adjustment options. Thanks keep the video going!!
Hello sir. I like what your doing here however I have asked many professionals and they all say the same thing... "you want 3/8 to a half inch difference from front to back". ie. The front needs to be towed out just a little, not socialist much that it's plowing but enough to keep the wobble to a minimum or none
I got a question for anyone that know I got a 2012 king quad750 that steers terrible I know for a fact that one of the a arms is bent but it could aso use adjusted steering box how do I go about making it steer better? Bend the a arm back buy one and do the steering alignment? or is it just one or the other
Maryland Lawncare & Reviews start with fixing the bent a arm and then do the alignment. the king quads are known for not being the best handling. they have a light steering feel but when u hit rocks ruts or obstacles with the front tires it wants to rip the handlebars out of ur hand and send u sideways. the power steering models are improved but still have the same affects and it's all got to do with angle and geometry of the steering system. there is a mod called demijohn mod that changes the angle and improves the handling tremendously (so they say). if you google demijohn mod or look it up on you tube you will find more helpful tips on it. I'm in the process of replacing bushings and other front end components on my King also and I plan on doing demijohn mod when it's all apart.
Sorry to hear! I would definitely try the steering models. It doesn't seem difficult to do if u k ow someone or have a mill to trim the A arm Me center shaft. I'm sure u cud do it with a cut off wheel but it won't be too accurate. I'm gonna post a video of it when I do mine
Quickest most informed and easiest explanation I found. Thank you
I like your video, I think the straight edge clamped to your wheels is a great idea, and easy to do. Good job.
I enjoyed this video 👍👍👍 I also like to keep things simple. Great thinking....
Love the straight edge idea clamped to the wheel hubs !!! Good video !!
A far better and more simple explanation than the factory manual I have. The video is too shaky but very useful.
I like your way better.

Sorry I couldn't give you an answer but I'm not sure
Three years late but my guess would have been worn front tires I'd assume back tires had more life than the fronts
Was it locked into 4 wheel drive? It'll feel like pushing more than turning while in 4 wheel drive.
Thank you, you just saved me a ton of headache!
Great video, thanks!
thanx mate,great vid,good explanation ,,
Did you fall?
always check your service manual for proper toe in adj
Now i could align my xtpro
Technically your wheels are supposed to be slightly pigeon toed. But great video either way
How long Is the straight edge supposed to be??
In between three and four feet long , the longer the more accurate
