Film Learnin thanks for replying. But I downloaded your pack and both breaches already have the blue glow in the middle. The c4d file didn't seem to have that(I'm not good with c4d) so I'm duplicating using element 3d. And I've got a decent approximation but not sure how to stick a blue glow coming from the middle since its a 3d object and I don't think a masked solid would do the job? Thanks again for replying.

You did Sub Zero freeze blast and Mr.Cold Freeze Blast but you let us with the question of how to actually freeze someone. Hope you can make it someday :D.I can actually make it but is with a ice image and rotoscoping but it looks kinda cheap could you make it better?. I know making realistic freeze effect is hard but you are GRANT COOK! I know you can make it :D.

I’ll be honest - this was a pain in the butt to make, I just experimented for weeks to get it looking the way it did. I never made notes on the progress or all the settings I changed along the way and I really don’t want to torture myself reverse engineering it to make a tutorial on it. Hope you understand.

how is the displaced torus moving? I checked the c4d file and there are no keyframes and I can't find any procedural movement, any ideas? :/ EDIT: found it in the noise shader :)

While experimenting, I found out if you add a bulge to the center of the front breach it makes it look more 3D

i get you, I understand how to edit the shape with the displacement etc but its just making the shape look like the portal is the issue

Steven Qi I ran into the same problem, you can use blender to convert all the images into a video. Just search up how and there are many tutorials.
