Few magicians deserve the admiration they receive. I hope the name "Copperfield" becomes as infamous, or more so, than the name "Houdini". I say this (as a magician myself) because this man was a real game-changer for the art of magic and how audiences perceive what a magician (a really good one) does. Great interview!
I LOVE this special interview! Utilizing iconography, co-creating an experience with the audience.. essential truths! The story behind lady liberty vanishing is pretty badass. My uncle (my mentor and patron saint of curiosity, connection and good wine) is a lifelong magician, this all just resonates so much with what I have learned from him. May we be inspired to find and create wonder in our own storyline.
Been watching the TV shows lately from late 70's and early 80's. It's amazing how far back this goes for him and the huge changes in our world.

DC is a brilliant entertainer. He’s very kind to other entertainers and he’s always performing… 2 shows a night, seven days a week. It’s remarkable.
