      to be precise its actually 3,900km Oslo - North Cape and back. Better to have Björn doing a good test then 5-10 journalists just driving around the city ;). Too bad his MG is in Thailand otherwise he could have used that one.

    This trip reminds me on my own trip, about 15 years ago.
    We was driving from ger/south, to the lofoten.
    This county touched my heart from the beginning of the trip.
    The calm county, the calm people, the beautiful nature...
    After this trip i´ve wanted to live there, but was scared somehow.
    Now i know i have to be there again!
    Norway - i miss you :-)
    Thx for reminding me!

    The roads reminds me a good old student days in early 90s. We’ve made the same trip even to Vardo and Vadso, with our first car Citroen Visa 1,7D :))) D for diesel :))
    Nowadays I’m travelling only Ev for last 7 years so hopefully we can make a trip to Nordkapp soon via Oslo for saying Hello to You ....:)

Then the north. Its just so wild up there and i never went to Lofoten! Think that is where I'm headed in 2021.

    On the way back from my North Cape trip in a 5 year old classic Ionic with 135k on the clock! Much easier since Ishavsveien have put in brand new 175/50 Twin CCS ( with Chademo and AC connectors). You really dont need cars with 800km ranges. Its just as easy with cheaper “ short range vehicles” so long as the infrastructure is there. Then electric motoring will be just as simple as ICE motoring only cleaner, less tiring and MUCH cheaper!

    Hello. being watching your great videos for some time, and alot of likes.:) Bjørn Nyland can you or someone live in Norway in the comment help me with something please. Today I was with my family in a carshop in Bergen, we were ordering a blue ZSEV, I think the price is 259890, for luxery, then the seller said we could get the winter wheels, but then we need to pay 283000 kr, my family quickly became scared about the price and droped the order....After my research you can just buy after market winter wheels for 1000kr each, maybe 1200. so is this the cheaper and reliable solution? ( I think the money of 283000kr come with both wheel hub and wheel.) well in winter we only need to change wheels right? we don't need to buy extra wheel hub. (17inch), am I right? also an other thing, the car seller recommended a kasko insurance, which again scared away us. So I told my family we can just buy the ansvarforsikring (the obligatory one), which is a lot cheaper, I think on gjensidige.no it's like 350 kr per month. Would u recommend us doing this for a brand new car? In my family I have good driving skill, pretty much can avoid any crash or accident so I don't feel I really need a kasko. But one of my family member is still learning to drive. They are hesitating about this insurance thing, the price stopped us buying the car lol. I don't think a tree branch is gonna fall on my car accidently, or it's gonna be on fire one day, if other people crash into me and it's not my responsbility, then their insurance company will pay the damage of my car, right? Since I'm pretty sure I'm a good driver and will help my family member become good driver, I don't really think I'm paying 1000 kr monthly for the kasko. or do you or any people think this is wrong logic? thank you so much.

    • @GSFBlade
      @GSFBlade 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      From what I understand, the reason for the steep price on the extra set of tires is that you're buying the tires + rims (wheel hub) with pressure sensors, I'm sure you could find these a bit cheaper somewhere else, so you'd have until it starts snowing to figure that out, seeing as you live in Bergen that would be around January, (though I would change them sooner) ;)
      I would always have full kasko on a brand new car.
      Question, did you have to pay extra for the blue color?
