Hi Perter, Love your Artist guitars reviews. I've just discovered Artist guitars and they are just amazing, they leave the name brands behind. Sold all my G's, F's are still good. I now have 5 Artist guitars and can't believe the quality and the prices are ridiculous. I've got the black paisley tele with the classic bridge. Just an amazing guitar. Currently at my guitar tech getting the bridge changed to a a similar bridge to that in Peter's demo.
Great review, Thanks. Nice Beck tribute - R.I.P. Jeff Beck, gone too soon. You sold me - just now bought one - now I have all the natural ash variations of this guitar.
@@ItsaCatsLife hi yes have done replaced one with twisted neck went to Sydney branch where Mr M that worked there said what do you expect from a cheap guitar told him that's the wrong attitude and could I get just a replacement pick ups for it they said no so replaced it with one with bent neck? And you sir must be one of the many staff from Artist that seem to be the only people that comment on YT? hmm I would have been better off keeping 1st tele and get a set of pick ups myself and fit them now just running around in circles and sending this one back because of neck I cant fix?
@@Davedarave6661 No, I don't work for Artist. I'm a customer. (I live over 2,000kms away from their showroom.) They have an iron-clad 3 yr wty and will replace a faulty item with a new one, no questions asked. My experience is when approached with the right attitude they will fall over backwards to help, guaranteed.
Brilliant playing as usual from Pete. Enthusiastic review, typical of Pete too. As a TC59 owner I have no need for a SS contoured version, but if I was, I'd be disappointed that there are no colour variations to choose from. Not a fan of the natural finish, would prefer to see some vintage colour options.
Awesome. I got one of artist original Tele dc 59 and yeah weight is an issue I tried to harden the fuck up but failed. This one sounds great and id wager lighter. Good review Pete.
I wish Artist would come out with a thinline tele like this with single coil pups. I'm over heavy guitars I tried their humbucker thinline tele, but found the neck pickup lacked definition. It was too boomy for my taste. A single coil version would be spot on.
Man boobs LOL. No where near it Pete! I've got the V1 without the twanglers and don't find it too heavy (compared to some of the TC59s). The contours are lovely on these guitars though. But the pickups in the V1 are very brittle in the top end. I'll be swapping those to twanglers in the future. Also great as mod'ing guitars 😜. The necks on these and TC59s are worth the price of admission BTW Lovely jam at the end there Pete!
Wow... I wasn't expecting that jam at the end! The best I've heard him sound!

Watched this demo, bought the guitar, love it!
Same here. Mine arrived yesterday. Play's great straight out of the box. Love the sound of the pick ups.
You're a great musician and an enthusiastic reviewer, Artist are lucky to have you Peter, I think you've sold me on getting one.
Yep I'm stuck on the TC59 or this one
ohh Thanks James. You wont be disappointed.
Love your playing feel Peter.

Hey mate! Please demo both the ARTIST HL6PB and the ARTIST SSCFR. Cheers!
Great Review Peter. Hands down the best budget guitars on the market.
Absolutely Greg

good move mate. Do you love it?
@@Davedarave6661 Return it for a replacement instead of posting a negative opinion. Artist don't want anyone to have a bad guitar or bad experience.

Hello. Please review the Headless HL6PB

Haa...HTFU Max. Think of it as excursive.
@PeterNorthcote hang on I'll google that
@@PeterNorthcote yeah mate. Ultra excursive. Listening to Freddie King playing Tore Down . Drinking home brew. Not too shabby 😉
