- Er hat unter Tage gearbeitet und auf großen Bühnen gespielt. Er ist im Pott zuhause und hat Platten auf der ganzen Welt verkauft. Für die Musik ließ er die Zeche zurück: Tom Angelripper von der Kult-Band Sodom im Video-"Pottrait" von V. Beringhoff
Absolutes Ruhrpott Original. Tolle Persönlichkeit. Sich selbst Treu geblieben. Hatte einmal die Ehre, dich persönlich kennen zu lernen. Ich glaube das war damals im Endzeit. Mit Detty von Black Messiah. Es war sooo genial.

für mich ist er eben eine legende, weil er einfach auf dem boden bleibt ... man kann sich mit ihm indentifizieren und er isn kerl, wie jeder andere ... tolle persönlichkeit! mein absolutes vorbild ;)

@@ErebosTalia Och sach das mal nich sie habe doch schon immer wieder ihre momente bin aber doch am meisten ein Fan von dem Zeug das noch vor 2000 rausgekommen ist da war auch nochn Kumpel von mir an der Gitarre dabei.

i have no idea what he’s talking about in this video, i know very little german, but man…i could listen to Tom for ages! what a legend⚔️!!
I'm german and i just love to listen Tom talking. I has a lot to to with the mentalty of the people in this aera he come from. The Ruhr aera and the people are influenced from a hard surrounding of the steel industry and the cole mines. People from there are very straight forward, honest, more simple but very friendly from the heart.
Tom talks s lot about his decision to switch from his work as a technician in the cole mines to a musician, and to live from it. He loves his hometown, the people and the cole mines. And this is what people love about Tom. He is a legend, he is famous but he is very authentic, on the ground and a solid, relaxed guy. The way he Talks is very simple and on the point, without any stupid stuff.

@@ianaster1104 thank you! There are also two parts of a documentary, each about 3,5 hours long. I saw both here on TH-cam. I love metal but sodom still isn't really my taste. But what i love are Tom's stories and adventures with the band on tour. The way he talks is just something you want to listen for hours. I am from the Cologne/Bonn area and people here just talk up and down and from here to nowhere for just a simple thing. Tom just hits every sentence short on the point, simple, straight and always a bit funny.

@@ianaster1104 i changed to Metal just 2 years ago. Originally i was into Techno music and all subgenres for over 30 years. It started with Iron Maiden and i studied all theyr albums for month. It goes beyond loving a band. Maiden is everything for me now, it's just awesome and very emotional. Now there is also Children of bodom, Wolfheart, Over Kill and Kreator, specially the latest Album Hate über alles. I realized that metal gives me a Lot and it's interesting to discover a new, different Genre.

One of my favorite bands, they ruled the 80's Thrash scene in my opinion. They also are the ones who inspired the most shittiest sub genre ever. Black Metal. But what the fuck these guys ruled so hard back then. In my opinion they really got downhill after their '94 album.

Sieht auf jeden Fall besser aus als wenn er überall Kratzer hat und man schon das blanke Holz(?) sieht...
