Where did you get the guide? What’s it made from?

The guide is made from foamex foam board. We make it 15mm deep.

I so needed this video! I’ve been using my Moxie since June 2022. All has been fine until one day the motors wouldn’t engage - only simulation. I took machine, carriage, and iPad to dealer. They said it was the bc the thread tension was too tight. I’ve had tension issues since the beginning I got my machine carriage and iPad back today. Same problem. Motors don’t engage. Sitting in frustration I decided to check to make sure the gear and blue flex rack were aligned. They’re aligned but not touching. Like the carriage is about 1/8 inch above the track. I don’t know how this happened and can’t figure out how to fix it. Any ideas? I’m really unhappy with my dealer and probably won’t be going back to them.

If the spring that pushes the motor down onto the X axis is set too loose this might cause the issue. However I would talk to Handi Quilter technical solutions who could guide you through the issue. I'm sorry that you did not get a good response from your dealer 😔
