Note about the expedition building after beating all the tower bosses you unlock a second set of expeditions that can be choosen by beating them again in hard mode. These are give more specialized rewards than the normal ones (one gives from all the pal spheres, one gives souls and stat growth items, one gives all the slab fragements including the ultra varients, etc) and require more power to complete/reduce the time needed
I think the fountain and similar structures give new players a second way to obtain them; i.e. it doesn't prevent you from unlocking it naturally. I think they put those there so you can use Tech Points for other things since there's so many unlockables now.
is there a trick to assigning pals to the research lab?? might just be mine is bugged, tried researching the first mining one, at a base with several pals with mining skills of level 1, 2 and 3... even tried throwing one at it with the research selected, it says the 'no job nearby so......' and they go do something else. i've tried multiple times with different pals. now i'm just thinking maybe i need to destroy it and rebuild it, or build another one someplace else, it was built just a couple hours after the original update, and there was another small update after.
I know its a bit off topic and I just started the video but saw Tarantriss and reminded me of my disappointment. I may be using her wrong or not figured something out. She seems like a worse grapple thats it. I was hoping for web swinging like the cosmo in ark since you can't fly on the new island. I can a least climb walls with the grappling hook, or cancel into my glider for fast movement over a good distance. She is my favorite of the teaser pals and is so cute. Am I missing something? I hope I am.
Yeah, bit iffed she's not like Cosmo or even a Rock Drake but I found her to be very mobile for boss battles which is really helpful in hard/hardcore mode. When fully condensed, it reduces her web cooldown to almost zero.
@@ArcDraws I can see her being good for raid boss movement I'll give it a try. It would also be awesome if they gave her a more cosmo ability but I don't even need that much. If they gave her just the ability to climb & grapple to cliffs/walls I would be more then happy. Make her feel more like a spider. Their whole shtick is climbing thing after all. Edit: I just encountered an NPC at location -1059 -1432 that says " If you ride the tarantriss its great you can move in three dimensions. Climb cliffs, cling to walls and move freely throught the air. Its great for mountainous regions." Am I missing something or not seeing a control becouse I can not for the life of me get it to do any of that?
IF you don't do random spawn mode (new option, requires starting a new save, but very fun) they are mostly on the new huge island, plus once you fight one the locations should show in game, even if you are using random spawns... they do also spawn from eggs, and there is lists online already.
can be found (not guaranteed to spawn but if ya come again alter it might aka it likely has some mechanic like shared spawn chance/cd/max predator spawns in the world or something) use paldb it already has mapped plenty of them (not sure if all) or wait for your fav map database to be updated and include the "spawn locations"
the effects of 1 lab from base 1seems to be working for my 2nd base; tested with the freezing timers; didn't change the timer amounts when adding and removing a lab on the 2nd base.
Given there's a few bugs like for example the increase in workspeed given by condensations doesn't actually work up to 4 condensation (doubt this patch fixed it tbh) we need to establish first and foremost what actally does/does not work and that will require ALOT of time and testing but techncially this should be a global "player base" deal IF stuff works as intended that is

I think you can build up too 3 research pods to increase research speed and have 3 pals working

Better if u assign them with monitoring stand it alot easier

I felt the same. It should be faster, climb walls and reach further with its web.

@@uniderp4258 done a few encounters with the predator pals. they arent catchable as the game always said they were immune to spheres.
