Excited they're adding new classes (Druid, Bard, Warlock and Knight). Hopefully we'll see more. And with the figures being 28mm scale we can incorporate miniatures from other brands as well since new classes seem to be limited runs and not widely available. I do hope Avalon Hill releases the class cards digitally so we can still play them even if we missed out.

      My mom was too terrorized by the satanic panic of the 80s and 90s to let me have this game. I had a friend across the street whose dad loved board games, and we'd play it in his garage.
      These were Dragon Shield Deck Protectors, but any deck protector product from another brand would work too. Deck protectors are a bit bigger than the card, more rigid, and usually have a textured back to help you hold and manipulate the card.

      If there are no monsters, then there's nothing for Zargon to do on his turn. The only exception might be if a specific quest has a unique thing to manage that isn't a monster: something like a timer that counts down, etc. But in general, Zargon does nothing on his turn if there are no monsters on the board.

    This is an AMAZING video but I have one slight question / modification ----- at 8:00, you mention when a Hero's body points go down to ZERO. (1) If that happens via a Monster attack, the ONLY way for the hero to survive is to use a Healing Potion (a hero CANNOT cast a healing spell in this case, b/c its not their turn, it's the Monster's turn.) (2) If a hero's body points go down to zero due to a TRAP, the hero can survive by using a Healing Potion OR by casting a Healing Spell if they have not already performed an action on that turn.

      The GM will reveal all of the traps that are in line of sight, even if they're all the way at the other end of the long hall that runs the entire bottom of the board. As long as it's in line of sight your heroes' keen eyes will see it. Traps in-between don't block sight, even falling rock traps that now block movement.

    • @FinalTrade
      @FinalTrade  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the map in the quest book shows chests in a room, Zargon will place them when the door is opened.
      But a room doesn't have to have chests in it for you to search for treasure. When you declare that you're searching for treasure, Zargon will look in the quest book to see if there are any a couple things: unsprung furniture or chest traps that you activate during your treasure search; or special treasures.
      If there are neither of those things in the room, you just draw a card from the Treasure deck to see what you found during your search.

    Okay so kickstarter I had to pay bills and still am, Only doing pre season training now due to covid. Not getting full pay and was duped into taking a monthly bus pass out of my pay. I need to know why I would pay 129$ for base box and then another on an Ebay Bonus Box of 120-200$? I know kickstarter it was 149$ for Base+Bonus and both expansions. Please advise.

    You can't search for treasures in a corridor, but can you search for traps and secret doors in a corridor?

    • @FinalTrade
      @FinalTrade  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Correct.
      You'll find traps and secret doors in corridors based on your searcher's line of sight. It's kind of silly because you can be in one corner of the game board, search for traps, and identify one at the other end of the board. Keen eyes!
