- Welcome to Universal Studios Florida. Today we are checking out the Men In Black: Alien Attack ride located at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. This ride features many of your favorite characters including Agent J - Will Smith.
This shooter style theme park dark ride allows guests to become agents at Men in Black! Guests enter the MIB office and are immediately put into a training simulation before the ride goes haywire! Aliens have attacked New York city and it is your job to zap them. Enjoy this full ride virtual pov and tour of the queue.
Many people try to get a high score on the Men in Black ride, our tip is to always push the red button when Zed tells you to!

Interestingly, Universal Creative considered different endings for the ride, such as you ending up at the Orlando International Airport baggage claim area or at the end of a Florida orange juice factory tour. The former seems to be referenced by one of Zed's lines in the queue videos.

It’s because universal dosent really promote there dark rides they only promote there e ticket rides

I'll never forget a strange incident that happened one time when I rode this.
I'm getting into my seat on the back row, when I spot two little kids getting into the seats in front of me. I can't tell if they're two brothers or cousins or whatever but there was this vibe about them that they didn't get along. There was a parent that they were with who obviously didn't want to ride it with them who tells them that she'll meet them when they get off.
As soon as they're seated, getting ready for the ride to start, the kid sitting in the middle seat grabs both his blaster and the blaster on the other kid's seat, and loudly and obnoxiously says "Oh cool, my seat has two guns!"
The other kid says "um, no that's actually my gun!" The first kid then goes "No, it isn't! These are mine! Yours is on the other side!"
The ride starts, the kid in the middle is happily blasting away, and the argument went on.
"Look, you clearly have my gun! Give it to me!"
"No no no, yours is that side! These are both mine!"
"No it isn't! There's nothing there! Give me my gun!"
Yet the middle kid wouldn't budge. Eventually the poor kid just gives up and is sitting looking fed up as the other kid is laughing and blasting away.
Then the ride ended, their parent or whatever is waiting for them on the other side, and the kid who got his blaster stolen was just silent and didn't say a thing.
I felt so sorry for that kid. If they were brothers I can almost imagine stuff like that happening between these two all the time. It wasn't enough that the first kid got something extra, it was almost like he was enjoying it all the more that the other kid got nothing.

This ride has secrets... bonuses to shoot at to get stupid high points. I was given a few "tips" by the people running the ride once years ago. Like the giant alien with two big guns about halfway through the ride. Shoot the barrels of the alien's gun (with the giant eye) and you get like 50k a pop. I was able to get scores in the high 800,000s. I don't remember them all. But if you were to ask the staff there, they MIGHT give you a hint or two.
I remember being on this ride back in the early 2000's during a winter vacation to Florida. It was a blast. :) At the time though I hadn't actually seen the movies so I had no idea that Jay had neurolysed us at the end.
...Maybe that's why I can barely remember those years.

I love that you can shoot down aliens, it's fast-paced, exciting, and it feels like you're in the Men in Black movie!

none of your business this is the same track and ride system as the mario kart ride, a slow shooting style dark ride doesnt really match the energy as mk, i personally think it shouldve been something more along the lines of indiana jones because that ride is slow to allow you to look at the sets but has large fans throughout the track to make you feel like you are moving faster than you actually are

I was always wondering why i forget the ride but now i know
My partner and I went on this back in November 2021 and I remember being underwhelmed by the large alien spinny part at the end. As a kid, I felt like they PUMPED that part full of fog to be as disorienting as possible, but when we went on it there was very little fog to speak of and it ended up being like it is in this video - just another spin.

Rode this during my first ever trip to Universal last week and right before getting to the end it broke down. I ended up stuck on the ride for 15 minutes. On the plus side got a free Xpress pass.

I remember my dad and I wanting to ride this, but the normal line was too long so we went into the single riders line and got separated. I was a very shy and squeamish kid so I was really scared. It was fun to ride anyway, but I will still scared. If I went now, I would probably still be a little scared but not as scared as before haha

I was a little bit scared when I got on this ride I thought it was a roller coaster but it wasn’t. But then when I saw alien shooter I had to go on it. The end was the best if ppl haven’t gone on this ride they should I got a 10000 score! The ride is pretending that the machine that tells you what score is broken and then it spins I went on it with my parents.
What do you shoot at?
For anyone who has ridden this ride about 50+ times, what tips do you have for beginners and/or the competitive type?
Aim for smaller aliens in windows, hold down the trigger, and hold down the red button at the end, it will give you 100,00k plus!

Pretty soon this fantastic ride will get replaced by something garbage like fast and furious or race through new York with Jimmy fallon. Pro tip: if you pull on the doors next time when walking through the que you'll get a surprise and if you aim at the red light and shoot your opponents ride you'll make them spin out 😊

Theme Park Shark your team has to get a ridiculously high score. You get inducted into MIB. My son and daughter are great on this. That’s the only way I saw it.

Did this ride get bigger in the past two decades or something? I know I've been on this ride at least three times when I visited Florida 20 years ago, but I don't remember walking though the entire MIB HQ, nor do I remember the ride having *three* chairs in one cart.
If you have the express pass the queue is much shorter so you don’t go through all of the HQ and as far as I remember it’s 6 chairs in one cart 3 in the front and 3 in the back

There are 3 controlled spins that occur automatically.

Random question but do you guys ever wear black to the parks? I know during the hotter seasons it can be a burden but most of the rides have air conditioning or you can also bring a mini fan. Sorry I know it's a strange question but I'm trying to decide when I can ever go out there again if I should bring my black polo shirt thats mostly cotton but also has a bit of Poly. For water rides definitely other colors Stay safe!
Manuel Mulero that’s a great question actually! When I go to Orlando during the summer, I tend to wear everything except for black haha. Idk if it’s in my head or it actually helps or what but I tend to wear white tops and lighter colors. Shorts I go for any color
@@ThemeParkShark Appreciate the responses as always! Yeah same here I've never worn black to the parks either but I guess it wont hurt to try it out when I'm out there! I think for indoor rides like E.T and Men in Black it wouldn't really be an issue but for water rides lighter colors are better for sure. I think both Polos and linen shirts are nice...the only issue with white though is that if you get soaked the majority of them would be see through when you say white tops do you mean like tanks and t-shirts? Haha I've worn t-shirts all my life so wanting to stand out a bit from the crowd:) maybe if you guys made light colored polos or other shirts aside from T's I'd buy an extra couple down the road.

Hi, I went to Orlando in October and I went to the parks wearing black (and I must add that with boots and skinny jeans too) and it was really hot, I wasn't really dying as I can remember, just take a bottle of cold water with you all the time
@@DogLips223 I've never worn black to the parks but just figured I'd still ask even if the shirt is mostly cotton I guess the sun still reflects badly off the Dark color? Thx for your input also this is coming from someone whos been to the parks many times:) also in my original comment I stated that Black can be a burden in hotter seasons just making sure perhaps I should donate my black polo or keep it for church in the future.
I love this ride when I was younger because was able to handle it then but not anymore now that I am a an adult I would so throw up after I would get off this ride
Went on this ride a few weeks ago. Loved it but I could feel its age...the triggers on the guns were so stiff and hard to squeeze, its a miracle i managed to get almost 220K points!
Was so bummed I went the other day was about to get on and the ride closed because malfunctions 😖

How the frick I do this ride...and not the mummy of revenge ride- me and my family were on these two carts and we had to keep shooting, but it was hard to do it when they spun us around and I was afraid they were gonna jump scare us.
