I was meaning the partner in white goes towards the partner in blue and then the partner in white slaps the hips of the blue partner as if it is a signal " now you can throw me " ! at 1:48 i have seen this in another video and just wonder if this is done in all judo / ju jitsu scenes ..... thanks
Hi, Ah ok. Uke (the guy) in white slapping twice to signaling that it really hurts and that he can stop. This signal, as widely used in all martial arts to signal the pain. For exemple, in Brazilian Jujitsu, if someone is on a wrist lock and he cannot escape or the pain is to strong, he will signal the other guy by slapping the ground, or the other guy.

He is using is knuckels to put strike on the ribs and make the partners release pressure on his grab.
