DIY Wedding Veil : Wedding Veil with a Blusher - 3 Styles {Full, Drop, Separate Blusher & Train}

- I will show you 3 different ways to make a Wedding Veil with a blusher using a 54" width tulle. You will learn the following:
Veil Styles: Full Veil, Drop Veil, Separate Blusher & Train
{0:44} * Measure amount of tulle needed, measure blusher length & train length
{1:30} * Full Veil: has volume and fullness
{2:30} * Drop Veil: simply lays over your head with no volume
{3:01} * Separate Blusher & Train: 2 piece veil. Both the blusher & train can be worn to the ceremony. The long train can be removed and the Blusher can be worn as your main veil during the reception.
{3:40} * How to reduce volume or pouf from the veil
{4:01} * Reduce fullness for Cathedral length trains

Youtique Bridal I did have a question. I just bought about 6 yards of a very soft pink tulle (for my pink veil. I wanted to create.) However I wanted to know what techniques you recommend me to use in order to create an ombre and/ or vintage pink effect for the veil? Thanks so much!!
KandeeKane85 I've never done an ombre veil before. You may want to go to a local fabric shop and ask about the fabric dyes available. If you've ever dyed Easter eggs before, I would think you can use the same techniques but use fabric dye. Sounds like this would be a fun project to try:)

Hello! You're always so helpful, thank you! If I sew the lace all on the same side of the tulle the lace will be facing outward when the blusher is over my face, but the blusher lace will face me when it's at my back. Do you think I should just cut the lace, sewing it on opposite sides of the tulle for the blusher, so that the lace will face outward when the blusher is at my back....someone seeing me from the back would see the outside of the lace and when the blusher is over my face the lace will be facing me. Does that make sense? What do you recommend?

If you narrow the width of the comb end on a cathedral length veil, will the diagonal cut stretch the tulle like fabric cut on the bias?
do you have a video how to add Diamond Stones or any type of jewelry to the Veil? its a little to plan for me.

I"m making the separate veil and blusher. Since it's a cathedral train, I'm taking away some width. Should I take a away width from the blusher as well?
That is an option if you want. If you take away the width, it will take away the fullness from the blusher so it all depends on how you want your custom veil to look. You can take away from the blusher width the same amount as the veil train width so the fullness can be the same. If you want the blusher more full, keep its original width and gather.
