I would reach out to bram Nissan on Facebook he's the guy I get all the hard to get parts from! But I think you can get the rear shields online it's the fronts that are discontinued

it is interesting how many similarities the KA has to the L series engines like the L18 in my truck.

Bro right!? I was looking at Isaacs 620 and I was saying the same thing on how many things are so similar even between the two trucks in general hahah

27 mm socket is the correct tool for that bolt and you never mess with those small bolts they are part of the balanced calibration from the factory if your truck is a manual put in gear and block the tires and loosen the crankshaft bolt if automatic transmission remove the starter and with a big flathead screwdriver or similar hold the flywheel be careful not to damage the teeth and that's how you can loose the bolt 20 years + of owning Nissan hardbodys I learned a thing or 2 lol ps never let anyone borrow your truck friends dont let friends drive drunk lol that's it

Hahahhahaha, thankfully our friend doesn’t drink Hahahah, he was an old guy, but I know what you mean, and thank you for throwing in your knowledge man! At the time I was just so in the moment I completely forgot that I could’ve just left it in gear😅😅

@@JapaneseMinitruck no problem man just wanna help and glad you working on her to get her back on the road another tip that worked out for me at least replace your oil pump with a melling oil pump is heavier because is not aluminum is heavy gauge steel obviously wears out slower than softer material like aluminum you replacing the dizzy might as well replace the pump have fun setting the timing lol you know what I'm saying right ? Be safe bro
