    Nice video! I appreciate the fact that you always tell the viewer the pros and cons of a property in an even handed and fair manner. I stayed at the Monte Carlo once and that trip was probably my worse Vegas resort experience. Upon your recommendation I will try the Park MGM. Looking forward to the wine bar! Once again you guys did a top notch job with this presentation. You are my favorite Vegas travel channel by far!

      I stayed here in December 2022. It is a great property and everything they said in the video is accurate. Give the redesigned and named property a 2nd chance. I had a great experience with it being laid back and comfortable. Great vibe here. Great that it is totally non smoking.

    Park MGM has its own culture, it has it’s own style. The open air marketplace is unique for the strip. The rooms may not be to everyone’s taste but I would categorize them as mid-century modern. I love that term lipstick on a pig. I really imagine a pig wearing lipstick and that would make it fabulous❤️. Thanks for another great video, you’re an entertaining team.

    Park MGM is my favorite strip hotel. I've stayed there the last 5 times I've visited Las Vegas. I recommend the Crack Shack that is right outside Eataly. Really good chicken sandwiches with great prices. Plus, outdoor seating along the Boulevard so it's great for people watching. I didn't know about the heated pool. Thanks for that tip! I love the convenience of the Bellagio-Park Tram close to the hotel and it's all non-smoking. Great video!

    ParkMGM was the first hotel i stayed at in Vegas definitely a great deal, its on the cheaper side, has great places to eat, and has easy access with the tram to Bellagio to get center strip. im highly considering going back this year but i do like trying to stay at different places.

    Everything you said was spot on! Literally the only problem I’ve had there was getting a room facing the nightclub. It was too loud for me and I couldn’t sleep. But the restaurants, location, size and customer service are awesome.

    We stayed at Park MGM a couple of months ago and your review is very accurate. The location is very convenient to a lot of popular places on and near the strip. That’s why we will probably stay there again. The room itself was pretty average for Vegas. Had a strip view but nothing fancy.

    Absolutely agree. Also, the casino feels much cleaner than other casinos because there are no ashes on the slot machines and no dirty ashtrays. The casino workers get to breathe clean air their entire shift, so that might be why they are happier.

      Great point - it's not just a smoke-free casino, it's an ash-free casino. Smoking doesn't bother me as much as it used to (probably because fewer people smoke, even in Vegas), but ash on slot machines always turned me off.

    I just stayed at Park MGM for the first time in May right after attending EDC. 🥰
    I wholeheartedly agree with you both that it's among the more underrated resorts on the Strip. Not quite as underrated as Sahara, Delano or Vdara (how could it be as underrated as those when they have Eataly, after all?)...........but definitely either rounds out my Top Five Most Underrated Strip Resorts list or is a top honorable mention on it. And I think a large part of it can be attributed to Eataly being such a unique, standout concept and attraction in itself on the Strip, having a trio of highly underrated, exquisite lounges in NoMad Library, Juniper and Mama Rabbit, a few standout restaurants in Best Friend, Bavette's and NoMad as well as a well-themed brunch spot with Primrose, and in my opinion one of the single most underrated pool complexes on the Strip.
    I will admit I have one major gripe about Park MGM.............and it is that despite their rooms only having been renovated five years ago after having been the Monte Carlo and purchased by MGM..............they are hideously ugly with that diarrhea brown flooring, exposed wiring and dorm room-like atmosphere to them. I really don't understand what they were thinking with the room remodel personally. But hey: they ARE renovated and cleaned up so there's that. 🤷‍♀ But I will say that even though the hotel hallways were also extremely ugly and dingy as recently as last year, they recently thoroughly refreshed them and now they look almost as beautiful as Bellagio's. 🙂
    Another thing that's more than questionable at Park MGM is its pricing. Even though I really love Park MGM overall and it has a lot to offer, it's often priced similarly to several five-star resorts on the Strip. Park MGM may offer plenty, but it's also simply no five-star resort so it shouldn't be valued like a five-star resort. Sometimes you run into a great deal there, but otherwise the value is among the poorest on the Strip alongside Caesars Palace, Bellagio, Aria and Venetian/Palazzo in my opinion.
    That said, I genuinely believe Park MGM is among the most underrated Strip resorts by aggregate and, moreover, I honestly prefer staying there in the meantime over Aria and even the Bellagio because of the overall vibe and atmosphere there. Enjoy your reviews as always! 🙂

    Video was spot on!!!.. It's on the top of my list every time I go to Las Vegas.. My only issue is the no smoking as I'm a Cigar Guy, but I realize I'm in the super minority on that & I have 20+ other casinos I can smoke in.. Stayed there 2 years ago and I’m on the fence. Price was reasonable, and it’s location on the strip is really great. The bed was super comfy and the shower’s water pressure is the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. I also think the restaurants and bars downstairs are very underrated and some of the best on these strip.
    That being said, the decor in the hallways etc feels very drab and old to me. Lots of wasted common area space where there’s just…nothing. Hallways were also kinda dark and made me very aware I was in an OLD building. With a place like Aria right next store, I feel like more thought and effort should have been made into how it presented itself in those areas. 3/5 stars for me

      Blackjack is generally 6:5 and $15 minimum, but you can usually find at least one 3:2 table at a $25 minimum. Craps are generally $15, not sure we've ever seen it lower. The sports book is mostly just a betting desk connected to a cool sports bar. Thanks for watching!

    I love Park MGM! Even when I'm not staying here, I still try to go to Primrose for breakfast (better than Aria, & no wait). My only 2 minor complaints are: (1) They no longer have a poker room since switching from Monte Carlo, (2) They don't have anyone from security checking to see that folks getting on the elevators have a room key (they really can't, since the room is circular & the different elevator banks are set up in a different 'spoke' in the 'wheel').

    • @ShowMeVegas
      @ShowMeVegas  ปีที่แล้ว

      Park MGM is like most hotels on the strip in that you have to use your room key to operate the elevator. You can’t select a floor that you don’t have a key for. Same setup at MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, Cosmopolitan, etc., without security checking for room keys.

    I like the Park, but to me, the base rooms are overpriced and sort of weird. The better rooms are the suites. Still overpriced but that's what Vegas is best at...Overpricing things. I do like the casino and the location on the strip. You can basically walk from NYNY, through Park MGM, through Aria, through Crystals and into Cosmo without going outside. Or take the tram to Bellagio without really walking outside. Planet Hollywood and Paris need to make an indoor walkway as well, so you can walk from Harmon Ave to Flamingo Rd. without spending much time outside. Thanks for the Video.

Pit Bosses and Dealers are always extremely friendly and always there to help out. I'm all about a good time playing Craps, and they do a fantastic job engaging players and drawing great energy. Looking forward to my stay next week! WHOOP!

    Park MGM is a good hotel to stay at, but not to play table games at. They use 8 decks for blackjack, and their craps table is very bouncy.

    • @ShowMeVegas

      So hard to say since room rates are crazy in Vegas right now, but generally speaking a Friday night is going to be double or triple the cost of a Thursday night. At the moment the two nights combined will likely be in excess of $400 plus resort fees if you don’t have comps.

    I just hate how expensive everything got in Las Vegas. It’s ridiculous. Keeps California residents like us from returning.

    • @ShowMeVegas
      @ShowMeVegas  ปีที่แล้ว

      It has absolutely gotten crazy expensive, but some would say Californians are what keep prices in Las Vegas high. Ease of access (by car) keeps the hotels full and leaves more money to spend on other things. If we could drive to Vegas we'd be going at least once a month. Thanks for watching!

    • @rw5622

      @@ShowMeVegas you think rich tourists from certain states you don't like are what are keeping prices in Nevada high? Not the economic downturn from covid or casinos trying to make back more money? Where would Vegas be without tourists?

    • @ShowMeVegas
      @ShowMeVegas  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rw5622 clearly there are tourists coming from all over, but Vegas has and always will be somewhat reliant on the HUGE supply of tourists just a short drive across the border in California. The numbers are pretty clear. An economic downturn doesn't translate into HIGHER prices, it drives down demand and thereby results in LOWER prices. What we have going on right now is a simple case of extremely high demand. These hotels are going to charge whatever people are willing to pay, period. Has nothing to do with prior losses, it has everything to do with basic free-market economics. They can't just magically charge more and recoup their losses if the demand isn't there. But the demand IS there. From all over the country, sure. And California. Tens of thousands of people from California every single weekend. Also, where did somebody say I don't like California???
