Over a month ago, I had a fall. Initially believing it was no big deal, turned out I have 3 small fractures in my pelvis and back. Immobile in my home for several days, 5 days in the hospital and now in a rehab center, I will miss Christmas. Just the mention of Christmas brings me to tears today. Still, when I heard this last night, it brought me the peace this song always has. I will listen to it many more times between now and Christmas in the hope it will get me through the holiday with hope, love and maybe a little bit of joy. Thank you so much, Dan and Victor. Very much Dan Vasc style, this mixture of soft fragile singing, playing the ranges and suddenly exploding. Nobody can do this better. The power in this voice is astonishing.
