I feel that in Unleashed they put more effort into the animations of the results. I can't take the ones from Generations and Forces seriously because the character keeps smiling even if he gets the lowest rank.
These are probs the best rank animations in any sonic game so far and the fact that they added ones for super sonic shows the detail they used to add Now in games like sonic forces they just have sonic turn back before he does them 💀💀

It's funny, I have been playing this game multiple times, and completed it multiple times, and got 100% on my old Xbox 360, and somehow i have never, NEVER SEEN Classic Super Sonic's B and C Rank Animations, I was caught off guard. Edit: And by I have been playing this game multiple times i meant when i was a kid
I'll be honest, while I like these animations (especially the callbacks for Classic Sonic), I think I prefer Sonic Unleashed's animations where E & D Ranks had Sonic look legit ashamed or annoyed! Also, nothing can beat the intentionally bad E-Rank Music! Also, fun fact: Sonic Heroes was supposed to have a purple-colored F-Rank, probably if you failed a given mission/stage, but it got scrapped before the game's release!
The irony of D & C rank (in super-Sonic specifically) is if you're good enough to even get the super form and the first place you're probably good enough that you're not going to get a C a D rank while in it. Heck if you're good enough to get to the end of the level while maintaining your superform and not having it run out you're probably good enough to not get a D rank while in it
Fun fact: I actually got to see most of these animations in Forces before seeing them in Generations 😂😂 (Because it's so impossible to get a low rank on this game and get to see those animations, while Forces plays them without caring about which rank you got.)
Super Sonic is Fun to play as if your flying you lose more rings. If your closer to the ground you lose less. Run out your running again till you get 50 rings or finish the act.
