Threw a couple of slices of crumbled up bread in my yard one spring morning, and it was like they were in the trees just waiting. Within 5 or 6 seconds, all at once, not a few or even in bunches. All at one time they landed. So many birds of all kinds, you could not see the ground. I swear. They milled around for about 30-40 seconds, and then they, all at once, flew away. All at the same time. Freakiest thing that I have ever seen to this day. Almost scary for some reason. I threw more bread out, but only a few at a time landed to eat the crumbs. I did this every morning that spring in 2014 and only a few at a time. That one time it happened and that was all. Still freaks me out a bit when I think about it. 🚬👓...

Well, I believe those are probably starlings, and a "murmuration" on the ground is something I haven't seen before. Quite interesting as I have always wondered what that would look like. Their aerobatics are phenomenal to see.
Where was the strange part? It isn't strange to see birds or squirrels, or little animals around a tree stand. It is not strange to hear them in the trees and bushes as well. In farming communities blackbirds form large flocks because there is enough food for them to do that. Nothing strange in your video. If you think that was strange, then you really need to get out into the woods more.
You need to sit in a tree stand more often if you think this is strange.
