Ok, the op is referring to the original Hot Pursuit game from 1998 as in NFS 3 where the Diablo SV was a star car in the roster, its even in the intro and on the covers for both pc and ps1 if many people even know of or play it anymore, but why do I always see people getting confused between this, HP2 and HP 2010? btw it was also actually many years until an NFS had this Diablo included again since it was dlc for this game originally and been in many of the games on since.
I actually liked this one. Yes, it had sort of limited burnout physics, but it worked. Even the AI surprised me on one occasion which is a huge plus. The only thing I hated and despised... were those damn "game moment cameras". Doing a Hot Pursuit event was a total nightmare. Race begins..... *New Pursuit Unit camera* Ok let's ra- *Spike strip hit!* Okk, cool I'm just gonna *Takedown* Ok I just wanna dri- *EMP Hit* God damn it! let me dr- *helicopter unit deployed* fffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu *taken down* It was especially infuriating when you play as a cop, you make a little bit of distance, then build the speed up, and time with with an EMP hit, hoping to slow them down and SLAM them hard..... Nope, how about you watch a mini-cinematic of the target car being shaken by your EMP hit, while the AI temporarily takes over your car and brings it down to a safer speed, essentially not even letting you actually catch up.

I really wouldn't have minded this, had they added an option to switch them off - kind of like what they had in the original Most Wanted and Carbon. A simple "off" option could've could've solved it all... that's why it frustrated me. These newer games seem to give players less and less and less options as the time progresses.

The reason there is those is to make the player be even deeper to the part of the action, immersive in a sense, it doesn't bother me one bit, but I see what you mean, some people just like to race, some people like a little bit more action in their races.

Everybody's talking about the missing McLarens but nobody's mentioned the missing Carbon Motors E7!!! That was one of my mains in the PS3 release, so good!
PC version feels like copy-pasting same assets without rebuilding from scratch and have to repurchase again for full price just to have some DLCs which was missing from its original counterparts 10 years ago.
If they ain't broke, why fix it? Apparently there's a huge online multiplayer following for this game and didn't want to see it die, so they brought it back.

I used to actually race with the hardtop Viper all the time and people constantly asked how to get it. Was actually surprising competitive with the SL65 considering how OP that car is.

They've improved the graphics with Antialiasing, better dynamic range, better skybox, better world details, better textures, more garage environments, new map effects, colour selector, crossplay, MUCH better multiplayer HUD, no autolog bugs, better PC port, horrible input lag is gone, etc. Tbh it's all the game really needed IMO

They redid it finally. In the 2010 version it was the same as the Ford Police Interceptor Concept. The Corvette’s and Mazda RX8 had it also in the old game (police versions). Serves them right to redo it as it sounded nothing like a crown Vic in the old game

The McLaren F1 paved the way for all super/hypercars.it was the fastest car in the '90s and it made car brands like ferrari, lamborghini, even people like Bugatti step up their game to what they are today, the McLaren F1 will forever be a stroke of genius.

If anyone is complaining about no nfs mw remastered, Its almost impossible, because stellar entertainment has experience in Criterion games but not Blackbox games, and the fact that 3 cars that are playing an important role in most wanted, The IS300, The Supra, and The SLR McLaren, Toyota won't give their licenses to nfs, and the SLR McLaren couldn't as well but we have hope with Carbon and Underground 1 and 2 Edit: The Toyota celica is also one of the cars of Eddie's crew so I Dunno about nfs underground Edit 2: The Supra is also important in the story of carbon so RIP our only hope is underground 2

they could have at least bumped up the geometry on the cars. you rarely see broken round edges in modern car games these days.

7:45 I always wished they would add more cars to the Hypercar class instead 3 Koenigsegg's and 3 Bugatti's. Dauer 962 LM, McLaren F1 LM, SSC Ultimate Aero, Bentley Hunaudieres, Lotec C1000, Lotec Sirius, Vector WX3, Vector WX8 Concept, Saleen S7 Twin Turbo, Mosler Raptor GTR etc... it would've made the hypercar line up more interesting ( and yes I see the 1 McLaren F1 and the Gumpert Apollo, but they technically only have 4 actual DIFFERENT cars in this Class)
