Good to see Andrew is back, he is such a great drummer. Saw them live and Chason Westmoreland filled in for fallujah and then enfold darkness back to back. It was amazing to see. .
Beats the shit out of drums, get's cancer, beats the shit out of cancer, continues to beat the shit out of drums... He should be a real inspiration for any musician to push harder. Plus, does anyone know what head he has on the snare ? Sounds beastly, I plan to get a new one
Fallujah is still writing phenomenal records but this album is honestly their best in my opinion. I for a long time didn't think that but the more and more I've listened to the entire album it is just so f*cking good in almost every aspect. The guitar tones and kick triggers are magnificent!
Its funny cause this video really doesn't do him justice. I played a show with them months ago in Portland and he + the rest of the dudes in Fallujah blew me away. This guy can do heel/toe the cleanest I've ever seen.
I tend to Moeller stroke a lot with my left hand. It's also far too powerful for "accenting," unless you're talking about a musical accent, in which the accented note is played with a little more power. Personal preferences for playing the technique the wrong way will fuck you up in a big hurry. Technique is about discipline and proper use.
No, no my friend. At most, drumming is half and half (50% wrists and 50% fingers). For this style of drumming, using your fingers with a still wrist is the proper and most efficient way to do blasts. Your finger strength comes from your forearm. I know that sticking your pinky out is a reaction, but it is like bad posture in the drumming world.
Sorry but the flying finger technique is definitely not 95% wrist! Maybe 5% or something around that mark...and there is also no excuse for not wrapping your pinky in!

@Richard Japenga Techincally we all have cancer cells, but I get what you're saying.
god forbid we hear a bass drum on this fucking channel
If youre talking about muscles then thats true. But there is a big difference between wrist motion and finger motion.
sick drummer is sick >:D \m/

Wow. Bamf.
Thats a really nice China. what china is that?
Bullshit. There is no "proper" way to blast - as long as it doesn't cause you any serious physical harm/discomfort, it's a valid technique.
i spy stupidity.this is MUSIC.if he wants to blast with his teeth, let it be so.As long as it sounds good, its ok.
Too much haters around here, unsubscribe / don't comment, please.
