when you consider what he was doing with sampling back in '91, at a time when the max sample was 18 seconds or something... then add all the rhythmical innovation... The Prodigy Experience is a work of unparalleled genius.

Sad times and thoughts go out to the band. The 90's wouldn't have been the same without The Prodigy soundtrack behind them that's for sure!.
I kno is not similar and have different styles but theres a band called death grips and they do hella variated styles;; they make hella variated styles juss like the prodigy did But ofc prodigy is unique but they got similar type of music kinda (experimental n allat)
I don't know that many songs by the Prodigy but I'm a big fan of house music and I stumbled upon this set. Man theses guys were SO ahead of their time. The fact that this type of music was being played in 1996 is amazing and incredible. The energy from the crowd is crazy and I love it so much! Long live The Prodigy!
I think they came in at the perfect moment. It was perfect. The 90’s generation, boomers, x gen, we all appreciated music. Different styles, genres, eras, etc. as a teenager in the mid 90’s, we listened to everything. Anything/. As long as it was good. And there was so much good music to delve into. Oldies, pop, country, hip hop (and omg, what a decade for hip hop) grunge, metal, jazz, there was just so much good music everywhere. It’s disheartening that most current edm fans don’t appreciate what the prodigy did for the genre.
I remember going down to the local ourprice and buying the firestarter single back in the day, and the rest. Music use to be game changers, now days there seems to be nothing epic. 90’s was an incredible decade for music, real music. Blessed to be of the jilted generation 🤟
I would trade in all my "trash" CDs at the local CD warehouse. Fat of the Land and Robert Miles Children came out near each other. I would always dig for rare imports from Pink Floyd, Prodigy, Bush, Pearl Jam
I'm from Louisville Kentucky and there's a place called ear ecstasy and better days and both of those names of those shops really defined with the 90s were. I remember getting the fire starter single too and also the brief single just to get those extra couple songs that were either remixed or having a bonus song. I think Molotov cocktail was one of the singles that were on there but anyway you just put me in a nostalgic land and I'm sad because I have to come back to 2021.
Opposite for me, I listen to The Prodigy I feel like the GOD of heaven is speaking straight into satans empire warning it of what is about to come :D hahahahaahha
My brain is hard-wired for The Prodigy! They're my fuel and I gotta have it every day! They intensify everything in me and make my heart pump 120 BPM! 🎶
The last 10 minutes of this gig are cemented into my memory. When Maxim asked for some dancers on the stage the security were totally unprepared for the max exodus that soon followed over the barrier, overwhelming them so quickly. It's hard to see on the video but there was about a 3 / 4 minute period when there were easily 100 people running around on the other side of the barrier and quite a few on stage. Personally I climbed the 12 foot fence that came off the front barrier and sat watching absolute madness unfold. They played again 2 days later in the dance tent, and it was a bit dull compared. Security weren't going to be caught out twice!
Keith Palmer, the HEART, Keith Flint, the SOUL, Liam Howlett, Neil McLellan and everyone else, the AMAZINGNESS of The Prodigy... Thank you for making the 90's such an amazing time to live in... Still AMAZING in 2022
@AnonyymiPaskiainen nah. it is the people. you can see it on punk scene. the same and punksters used to drink beer mainly. (not saying alcohol is not a drug by any means, but being on stace after 5 beers and high on meth is still somewhere else) more and more people just watch or fucking film to fucking share it on whatever fucking asocial network. Today's trend is not live the life, but to share and show off. Fuck that....
Second set on the Saturday in the Dance tent was so intense... Crowd was 50 deep outside! Managed to get right up to the rail by the end of the first tune by bouncing through the crowd with one of my school mates as everyone jumped around. There were about 20 of us originally but only two of us made it! Won't ever forget that 🙌🔥
So my Dad was at this festival in 96, skip 22 years later and i saw them with him for the last tour in the uk before keith passed. Prodigy are eternal!
Managed to achieve the same with my children on the last UK tour also. Special experience to have my kids see what all the buzz that surrounds a Prodigy gig
Looking back at this time very fondly after almost 30 years it’s such a reminder of how lost we’ve gotten ourselves! This is exactly how humans should party!! Without a care in the world, without worry of onlookers, social media, facebook, instagram, cyber bullying, politics, just in the moment like that crowd were for that hour! Having lived and raved through 92-2008 I’m so happy to have experienced it, I don’t think humans will ever see a time like that again, probably the best time to have to experienced electronic music to date! As one! ☝️
So I just started getting into The Prodigy recently and I'm just blown away by their music and live performances. I'm in my 30s and I don't know how I could have slept on these guys for so long! Better late than never though, amirite? Cheers!
The absolute dogs bollocks blew my brain first time it's the energy and Liam's production, something in my heart gave out on keef's death can't imagine witnessing a band like them ever again.
Special very. No doubts.History. Will be watched later. By others I mean, generations. On spaceships prolly. On Mars no doubt. Sometimes you just need some prodigy.
Jumped on my bed with my mate going mental to Breathe when it came out. 6 years later aged 16 I saw then live at my first festival, Reading Festival 2002. Count myself extremely lucky to have experienced them growing up.
The fact that they were the only electronic music act that regularly got invited to metal festivals speaks for how hard they were going live.
i was this year at the biggest Metalfestival in switzerland, The Greenfield and saw them live for the 5th time in my life.

I kno is not similar and have different styles but theres a band called death grips and they do hella variated styles;; they make hella variated styles juss like the prodigy did But ofc prodigy is unique but they got similar type of music kinda (experimental n allat)
@@lxstykruger7531 TNX, dude!

One of the true all time greatest sets ever....
This is legit one of the best concert vids I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot. Wow.
Prodigy at their peak. Holy shit they were good.
You might like Depeche Mode.
You might like golden era 94' rinsing Jungle Drum and Bass rudeboy
any old school house recommendations?
Lots of industrial acts, Fat Boy Slim, Moby, Chemical Brothers, the Orb, Orbital to name a few were all around this time

Talk about having the crowd in the palm of your hand 💕❤️ imagine dancing on that stage for No good 👌👌❤️❤️
I remember going down to the local ourprice and buying the firestarter single back in the day, and the rest. Music use to be game changers, now days there seems to be nothing epic. 90’s was an incredible decade for music, real music. Blessed to be of the jilted generation 🤟
Wow, Our Price. Now that takes me back to the oldskool
I would trade in all my "trash" CDs at the local CD warehouse. Fat of the Land and Robert Miles Children came out near each other. I would always dig for rare imports from Pink Floyd, Prodigy, Bush, Pearl Jam
There has been a lack of real game changers in the last 10 years or so. The 90's were stacked with original sounds.

Ive seen Prodigy 3 times and everytime was like walking into the very depths of hell its self.......Fookin Awesome !!
That sounds horrible
@Charlie LuckyLuciano what? 😂
Opposite for me, I listen to The Prodigy I feel like the GOD of heaven is speaking straight into satans empire warning it of what is about to come :D hahahahaahha
Who still watches this concert video on a regular basis…? 🔥
Haha here, been like since June
🤘🏼
My brain is hard-wired for The Prodigy! They're my fuel and I gotta have it every day! They intensify everything in me and make my heart pump 120 BPM! 🎶
Jeez, so powerful! Brings tears to my eyes! What an incredible performance!
Crazy! No phones and just dancing!!
This is so EPIC that I don't have enough words to express the extent of this EPICNESS!!!
The sound of my youth, was lucky enough to see them twice, nobody brought the energy like they did. RIP Keith
what's happen on the stage during the No Good, is one of the best moments of electronic music ever! change my mind!
You should see older videos with the same insane moment on the stage.
damn.... i still love it. decades have passed... and still... it is just art
I keep coming back to this. A tribute to when English rave was fucking awesome
Well that’s me listening to The Prodigy non stop on Spotify again, on my bike, in Bali 👌🏼
Keith Palmer, the HEART, Keith Flint, the SOUL, Liam Howlett, Neil McLellan and everyone else, the AMAZINGNESS of The Prodigy... Thank you for making the 90's such an amazing time to live in... Still AMAZING in 2022
Liam Howlet is the BRAIN!
Nowadays live performances are so lame. I really miss this kind of energy.
@AnonyymiPaskiainen nah. it is the people. you can see it on punk scene. the same and punksters used to drink beer mainly. (not saying alcohol is not a drug by any means, but being on stace after 5 beers and high on meth is still somewhere else)
more and more people just watch or fucking film to fucking share it on whatever fucking asocial network. Today's trend is not live the life, but to share and show off. Fuck that....
@AnonyymiPaskiainen You got that right. Hearing this makes me salivate lol.
I say the same often

Second set on the Saturday in the Dance tent was so intense... Crowd was 50 deep outside! Managed to get right up to the rail by the end of the first tune by bouncing through the crowd with one of my school mates as everyone jumped around. There were about 20 of us originally but only two of us made it! Won't ever forget that 🙌🔥
This Firestarter version is the greatest performance ever.
True, that was strong acid!
Who’s the guitarist?!
Omg I'm soooo glad
I experienced this era. The cid so good making me feel light thru the vid
@@markbeaver4806I mean really, nothing can compare, and we all were about love no.matter how wiked 😂❤
The Prodigy forever!!!!🐜🐜🐜
This moment in time will never be matched. R.I.P Kieth Flint❤
As one! ☝️
The world's gone mad. So glad I got to enjoy this is the 90s 🤘🏼
The prodigy absolutely united people, from all walks of life, no matter what genre of music you were into. There will never be another prodigy
i dont think it gets any better than this
So I just started getting into The Prodigy recently and I'm just blown away by their music and live performances. I'm in my 30s and I don't know how I could have slept on these guys for so long! Better late than never though, amirite? Cheers!
No f*ckin smartphones just enjoy the show.
Yeah, but the smartphone is what makes us enjoy thisbshow whenever we want 👍

Yee, Is it ok music
We will never ever ever see original artists like this ever again.
GOOD MUSIC IS DYING WE NEED TO MAKE ARTISTS LIKE THE PRODIGY ETERNAL!
AGREE
I think good music is dying because coronavirus stopped live performances from being able to happen anymore 😔
Was done long before da vid bruv
Imagine having danced on that stage almost 30 years ago and remembering that day today, what must it feel like?
The absolute dogs bollocks blew my brain first time it's the energy and Liam's production, something in my heart gave out on keef's death can't imagine witnessing a band like them ever again.
perfectly said
Brother called gerald?
Special very. No doubts.History. Will be watched later. By others I mean, generations. On spaceships prolly. On Mars no doubt. Sometimes you just need some prodigy.
Jumped on my bed with my mate going mental to Breathe when it came out. 6 years later aged 16 I saw then live at my first festival, Reading Festival 2002. Count myself extremely lucky to have experienced them growing up.
Same 😢
Legendary!
