Since this is after Fast 8, there shouldn't have been any bad blood between the two, now Shaw suddenly has a sister, with no mention of having a brother at all, especially during the childhood flashbacks. In Furious 8, Mr. Nobody told Hobbs that his daughter was safe with Hobbs sister.
