Basshead family sounds pretty awesome. I like how you show us how everything isnt perfect all the time. Like EXO you show the mistakes and WHOOPS moments. Makes the rest of us feel like we can do all this stuff also. Thanks Parker.
Even car audio stuff aside, it is SO much nicer driving a super quiet whip. I started with 25 lbs of second skin n now have over 50. I liked the intro, best way to transition to this video.
I put mine in the same time I did the door speakers so I don’t know what they sounded like without it. It was definitely worth it for the reduced road noise and getting rid of the tinny noise when the doors close

I think you could leave your channel name the same but just have that as like your slogan Bass head family you could still make t-shirts and stuff. And that is one cool cat hes definitely part of the basshead family now.

Parker Basshead channel
Most excellent footage breaking down the importance of sound deadening whips Parker!! It's all about that clean bass sound 🙌 i installed 38sqft of D4S 120mil from my trunk to under my seats (eliminated the entire backseat) in my 96 Nissan 200SX and it's 95% clean sound and no annoying rattles. Definitely doing the roof space when i get my single X10 re-coned and can order a 16sqft 120mil pack.
Man it's about time. Cool video though. I soundproofed ol blue before I even started my build. I used all the killmat I had lying around. I still get pushed doors and some roof vibration though. I'm running all skar subs. 8 vvx8d2 and 3 evl15d2. Only have 14k in it right now. Building bracket for another 240 alternator and just finished adding 3/16 thick plate under the toolbox to support the extra batteries. Once that's done I'll be taking it up 25k subs and 2.5k for mids and highs.
Nice job at fixing that. My Suburban is so loud when the bass kicks in I know I need to install sound detener on my roof exspcesally.
Nice job Parker I'm glade your Toyata is more quieter. Someday if I get less lazy I might try soundproofing my metal pantals on my Suburban. BASSHEADS FOR LIFE😁

Im going to be doing a rebuild as well. Going from two image dynamics id 12's sealed running off of a phoenix gold xenon 400.1 wired to 1 ohm. To a single fi sp4 v2.1 18 4th order off of a taramps md 8000.1 dialed back for 3500 watts.

Love what your doing Parker it feels good to build your own set up I have been doing upgrades on my system as well 💯.. Just out of curiosity do you have ground wire ran straight to the alternator from the battery set up?? I did my research and seen not only is it good to ground on the frame it is also good to ground on the alternator as well 👍 .. I ended up running mine that way and seen some improvement on voltage and that was with standard std🔋I know they are about as bad as they sound for car audio I just felt the need to ask brotha and maybe save you some hastle 😩..Keep up the good work my man much love 🤘

Mechman told me to run negative cables directly from Alt to the back instead of frame or chasis. Told me chasis is only able to carry 175-200 amps and frame only 250 amps. Said I needed to run a couple cables back. Reason why is because I smoked my mechman 320 after just around 700 miles. When they opened it up they said I was pulling Hella current and had grounding issues. I had big 3 done and several ground cables going to chasis

Are you running the lithium with the agm? If so are you using an isolator? I made one of the same banks you have, ive been using an isolator but it drops about .6 volts :(
With good efficient subs and clean power, you can absolutely kill it with just 1000 watts....
These ridiculous wattage subs and amps are just marketing for big egos....

One of my favorite systems of the past was a Toyota Tucoma TRD EX Cab, with a single Kicker CVX 15" in a 1.8cf after dis, sealed box firing sideways behind the passenger seat on a Alpine 1k. with the windows down the cab acted like a low tuned 4th order it was sick! for what it was everyone who got a demo was blown away thy could not believe it was one 15.

I would do a single "window port" even in the winter, again people ask why do you have the window down...? Makes the bass better...lol It really is like a 4th order.

Dude on the Sundown Unofficial TH-cam channel has said numerous times that they have used China and a lot of there stuff IS made in the USA, but like with the Salt amps they went through Taiwan in order to keep the price down, but the build is still Sundown specs and quality

I would think if you pull all of it out the cheapest best and fastest way would be to bed line the hole in side of the cab exspeclly if you need to do more then one car you can buy it by the 5 gallon bucket and you can spray it 🤔🤫🎵. It also way cheaper. Bump on bass heads family boom🎶🎵💥👍✌️👌💯🥂

Hey Audio fam I have a question & need your help! I'm currently working on building a new system for my '14 fusion running DS18 PRO-GM6 6.5'S and DS18 PRO TW120B Tweets for my doors & a Power Acoustik BAMF 12-4 for the back. My question is do I need individual crossovers for the doors or can I just run a 5ch Crossover?
As long as your tweets have a capacitor on them you will be ok with your 5ch amp. But don't your amp have some kind of crossover on each channels? What 5ch do you have or plan to have?
@@scottiffanimccord1509 I plan to get a 5ch DS18 crossover I just didn't know if I still needed to do individual Crossovers for my doors if their running into the 5ch
