How do i get to use the sim card while its in the laptop
@@frankizboniz I don't have that exact laptop. But if you inserted the SIM but it doesn't work then there is an internal hardware missing, a SIM module that is usually installed later. It doesn't come with the laptop and needs to be purchased separately.

Excellent question! I've only noticed PWM display flicker on older HP ProBooks and certain Lenovo ThinkPads; The display on this unit is very similar in quality and resolution to a standard LCD Nintendo Switch, and doesn't exhibit any of those symptoms.

Is the graphics card able to edit 4k videos with filmora?
No, I would recommend a 6 core 8th gen Intel 8750H or better. You'll be waiting an unconstitutionally long time with this sucker.

No, I would recommend a Dell XPS 9560, a non touch 1080p model goes for about $250, a 4K touch model will go for $350, the extra $100 you’ll spend over this will give you years of gaming over these EliteBooks
Is it good for Ableton ?
It just barely meets the minimum requirements, so it should run but expect delays or lag with heavy loads. I would shoot for an HP EliteBook 840 G4 or G5 with a newer 7th or 8th gen Intel Core i5/i7 CPU

I have hp elitebook revolve 810 core i5 with 8GB ram but when i open programs like Adobe illustrator the device generate heat and that make the bettary spented quicly, can you know the reason?
Yes, the battery is small and the ULV (Ultra low voltage) CPU with integrated graphics are a strain on graphic designers. Typically with newer programs like creative cloud with all their AI and high resolution rendering, a laptop with a graphics card and 6th gen or newer Intel CPU would be recommended, like an HP ZBook Studio G3. It's a great option for not very much more than one of these. I know it's not very helpful, but I hope saving you from replacing the battery and meaningless upgrades will save you towards an overall better machine that will meet your needs

Yes, it’s a great portable business laptop. However, if you’re handling extremely sensitive information like for another company or something on a massive scale it’s less secure than a new laptop
can you suggest a good source for those docking station you say it's 5-6 dollars? I could only find 70-100$...

Can I get this device (HP elite book 810 G3 revolve core i5 or HP elitebook 840 G5 core i5... I neef a laptop for prolong writing, studing and general basic beec. I don't do video games.
Get the 840 G5. The newer the better
Just picked this up at a yard sale. I'm a Mac girl so kind of lost. I know it's old but is this thing not rechargeable like an iPad?
It is! Just hook it up with the power adapter and it should start charging. If it doesn’t download HP Support Assistant on your computer and it will let you know if the battery is shot. Also make sure you’re using a 65w power adapter as lower wattages will power but not charge the laptop. Let me know how that goes :)
Between this and the elitebook 840 g3, which one is better?
840 G3, it has a 6th generation processor instead of the 5th generation or lower found in these. Skylake brought a boatload of performance improvements. - Element Productions alt acct.

Can the laptop be used for coding like python and does core i3 great for coding too
I use it for unity and works fine but blender some times not responds because. It have 2 cores and 4 threads
I also use it for making games in C ++ I have upgraded it to 8GB ram

@@stupidjwayne1491 if you buy the core I5 version with 4 cores it will work very her good even better than this laptop but remember you can't use it for big gaming like gta5 call of duty warzone but you can play some light games like fort nite ad Minecraft and it can run blender and unity very easy but unreal engine will be a problem

With a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, yes but it won't carry audio through to your display of choice like an HDMI cable would. You will have to route the auxillary output from this computer to a separate sound system or an auxillary jack in said display, if it has one

How many hours can the battery last?
On the original battery expect them to be on the fritz, between 1-2 hours at the most. A brand new OEM battery from HP would net 3.5-5 hours, and a brand new battery from eBay or another aftermarket would probably get you 2 hours and stop working after a few months

HP EliteBook Revolve 810 G3 Stylus on Amazon. It looks like a Fisher Price or Wacom pen. Check the video out towards the end where I talk about the pen to make sure the image is similar

What’s the battery life of this laptop like ?
Edited response: A brand new battery will last 4-5 hours. This laptop is nearing 10 years old and if it happens to still hold a charge it won’t be great. The laptop in this video had a dead battery so I would consider purchasing a new one but it wouldn’t be cost effective especially since brand new OEM batteries would be around as old as the laptop itself, and I wouldn’t recommend ever purchasing an aftermarket one

Depends on the model. It was an option from the factory but can be added aftermarket for relatively cheap on secondary shops like ebay

Little slider switch on the side. If it’s not powering on still plug in the AC adapter. It’s about time to replace the original battery, if you have it
Can GTA San Andreas be played in the device
Yes, but poorly. There is no doubt thermal throttling will take a massive impact on performance, not to mention the integrated graphics are just squeaking by for the majority of heavy tasks, that’s why this machine is aimed at business customers who need portability. If you need a semi-gaming laptop that will play San Andreas without breaking the bank, I would look at an older Dell XPS 9560, if you’re sharp-eyed you can nab one with a 4K touchscreen and GTX 1050 graphics. I used to have one in college and now they’re in sub-$300 territory, THAT is the laptop to get for San Andreas.

Can I use this as a laptop, for programming?
Yes, although the shallow and tiny keyboard will be a pain to type on for long periods. If you’re traveling a bunch I’d recommend a nice used M1 MacBook Air. You can find them for $400-500 used and the battery life is amazing
My WiFi is not connecting with the hotspot, what can/ should I do?
If you’re using an Apple iOS product I’ve had a hit or miss with Windows laptops. Try asking someone with an Android hotspot to try and connect, and if that doesn’t work make sure your Intel wireless drivers are installed from HPs website
