I have been watching your videos for a long time now , your tips on finishing helped me out a lot , to be honest I only try to score long shots when i'm like 2-0 ahead cuz with all the tension I can't think about scoring a long shot haha , your videos are great man & your tips are very helpful ! I think the powershot longshot is pretty realistic. In real life, you're not going to make those every game and you have to be careful of when you choose to do it. Just like in the game when you maybe score them 1 out of every 4 games.

I can score consistently with power shots. You get players with curve, shot power, and long shots. If you are using a right footed player, shoot from the right, and shoot from the left with a leftie. When you shoot you need to press lt and as long as you get the power right, it always loops over the keeper and goes in

I find power shots work if you shot fake to stop while running then take a small touch, then release the rocket. Scored a buncha them with kolarov.
In 2020 me and my mate play Fifa 15 because it’s legit more fun.

Don't know if you still check comments, but what exactly is a "long shot" stat? Do you mean shot power? Or do you mean that we should use players with the "long shot taker" trait?
I'm personally a big Milan fan and I've had trouble making long shots land with our main forwards (Alessio Cerci, Jeremy Menez, Stephan El Sharaawy, Keisuke Honda). I've only been succesful with Menez and Honda so far.
Any tips you can share would be great, I'd love to pull a nice long shot out of the bag when playing against my mates :)
Good tip Ovvy. It's working better for me now. I tried many times and in most of them I scored. Before, in some cases I changed the direction of the shot and it was the reason of my mistakes. Thanks a lot!

EA f*cked the shooting up!
Even controlled shots that are not too high are going in.The keeper does nothing.
And furthermore it's more realistic when a driven shot from distance flies in the net than a controlled one.
On world class I hate how goalkeepers sometimes make dump mistakes but at the same time a perfect driven shot to the upper corner is somehow miraculously saved.
I found that with shooting at semi/manual it is a lot better though.
Semi should be the default setting.

Try using LT and around half power to 3/4 power. I've found that it works consistantly but only with certain players

Finesse shots works well for some players, but not others. I consistently score Long Shots with the Flair (L2) Shot with a right footed player from the right, left or center of the pitch. Well done for finding out how to pimp finesse shots, but don't go saying that it's the only way when it's not. Feel free to watch my montages & tell me i'm wrong.

i score alot of power shot longshots from 40-50 yards out. pogba,ibarbo,benteke, are the best ones for me.

Most of the time I take the finesse shot, my ball goes off directiona and the height of the ball is just random.. with the same power, sometime I can score and sometime the ball goes off just like I passed it to the keeper.. what is the proper solution to it..

You can score power goals but it's very random like you said but if you want to have a power long shot I recommend lampard or Lallana
