Dough:
• 1 kg apples (about 2.2 pounds)
• 4 tablespoons lemon juice
• 250 g butter (1 cup + 2 tbsp)
• 150 g sugar (3/4 cup)
• 5 eggs
• 375 g all-purpose flour (3 cups)
• Pinch of salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
Streusel:
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 3 tablespoons almonds, ground
• Pinch of salt
• 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
• 175 g all-purpose flour (1 1/2 cups)
• 150 g butter (2/3 cup)
• 100 g sugar (1/2 cup)
• 3-4 tablespoons apricot jam
Baking: 150°C (300°F) - 35 minutes convection
Baking pan diameter: 33 cm x 29 cm (13" x 11.5")
