    Great review onboard KE! Sure it's a nostalgic experience flying on the B777-300 (non ER)! :)

      Thanks for watching! It’s my first time on the 777-300 and not ER variant.. I was shocked to see how much more quiet it is compared to it! I have Business Class review coming out on Saturday/Sunday nextweek if your curious on that experience!

      Thanks for watching! Yeah, its really cool knowing the places around the world planes are going to at the airport so I take time to see what planes departed at the time I took the videos..

    Great video. I also flew with the B777-300 non ER last august from ICN to MNL. The plane registration was HL7533. I ll upload a video soon about the flight. In the past, i also flew with non ER of SQ and CX.

      Thanks for your kind comment and watching my video, I greatly appreciate it! The SQ non ER is quite rare as its retired now and only -300ER's operate, and the Non-ER which was used for regional flights is now replaced by the A359 Regional, and CX is still around but pretty rare as well! Thanks for sharing!

    In December it's "Au Revoir" to tedious layovers and Bonjour Paris as Air France 🇫🇷 said that they will start direct nonstop flights between Manila and Paris Charles De Gaulle thus if planned direct flights between the Philippines and Europe will be restored. I can't wait to be greeted again with "Bonjour et Bienvenue á Bord" by the cabin crew when I travel to France in December perhaps a complementary champagne 🥂 would be great. It will be easier French and European visitors, business people coming to the Philippines also for Filipinos living in Europe as well for us Schengen Visa holders who regularly travel to Europe 🇪🇺.

      Yeah! I'm really excited for Air France to open up flights to Manila since it will not just open up Paris to Manila but also the rest of Europe with a layover in Paris! I hope AF brings their A350's here!

      @@flymnlIt's been more than 20 years ago when Air France 🇫🇷 last flew to the Philippines when they push through as planned a big "Content de te Revoir aux Philippines" that's Welcome Back to the Philippines in French. They will surely deploy the A350 capable of flying at longer ranges.

      @@flymnl Also the German flag carrier Lufthansa said that they will restart very soon their direct nonstop flights between Manila and Frankfurt or Munich, I used to fly with Lufthansa before they ceased flying to the Philippines in 2008, if they resume by next year a big "Herzliche Willkommen zurück zu Philippinen" as I speak German.

    I do occasionally take a Korean Air flight from Manila to Seoul Incheon for my onward connection via Finnair to Helsinki Vantaa as at present there are no direct flights from the Philippines to Europe🇪🇺. This November Italy's new flag carrier ITA Airways (Italia Transporto Aereo) makes its inaugural flight to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi from Rome Fiumicino with their aircraft in its distinct Metallic Blue or Azzurri livery, hopefully soon they will fly directly to Manila.

    • @flymnl
      @flymnl  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching! A lot of people use Korean Air to connect around the world but its quite interesting that you connect onward to Finnair (AY) since KE and AY are not in the same alliance. Most people connect through Doha with QR, or Hong Kong with CX and then onwards to Helsinki with AY.. And yes I do hope that ITA begins flights to Manila, as there is a high demand for nonstop flights to Europe from Manila though it may be more pricey than having to connect in Dubai, Doha, or Istanbul.

      @@flymnl ITA Airways (Italia Transporto Aereo) has just been in recent months part of the Lufthansa Group and has been opening up new routes since the collapse of the now defunct Alitalia in 2021. BTW KE also flies directly to Prague, Czech Republic from Seoul Incheon if you're planning to visit Eastern Europe.

    Bonjour mes amis, Air France 🇫🇷 has confirmed that the flights between Manila and Paris Charles De Gaulle officially begins on December 08 and will utilise the Airbus A350-900 in a 3 Class configuration Business, Premium Economy and Economy with a complementary champagne 🥂 onboard of course 😊, it will be 3x weekly . A big "Content de te Revoir aux Philippines et Merci beaucoup Air France" as I speak a little French "Je parlez petits Français" . Bon Voyage et Salut 🥂.

    5:35, I saw the Emirates, Airbus A380 in the Destination Dubai livery and Dubai Expo livery for the 1st time in Singapore and London last May and June and it looks cool. But I was on a different airline to fly to Singapore and London for vacation.

    Did you check in a bag? Were they strict with the checked bags and carry-on bags?

    • @flymnl
      @flymnl  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching! Yeah I did check-in bags! In this case I was below the limit of 30 kgs and my luggage was pretty large-sized. For the carry-on, I was overweight by 1 kgs, and it passed. They also allowed my backpack (personal item) which was kind of large as well.

      Hi, Thanks for watching! For information, I booked 2 months before the flight, and Economy was 187USD for one, oneway but I flew prestige back which was 543USD so around 730USD, Economy & Prestige (Business Class) Also roundtrip Prestige should be 1086USD and roundtrip Economy should be 374USD. :)

      Thanks for watching! It's 60 lbs for one and for the fare I got. It does vary depending on the fare that you choose. and yes, it is 15 lbs for hand carry and I'm pretty sure you can bring your laptop as hand carry has one personal item on top of the bag you put in the overhead bin! :)
