This was such a brilliant scene shared by Danny and Jeff, because it had such emotion. Every time Aaron cries, he makes me want to cry, I'm glad that he and Cain have finally been able to support each other through this moment after what Aaron's been through.

Cain shows he cares when he looks into Aaron's eyes. Family are chains world. An amazing actor. He isn't a hard man he just cares so much that it's his only way he knows.
One thing I love about Cain is that he's irreducibly complex, morally speaking. You can't reduce him to 'bad really, because...' since there's a good deal of genuine heart and compassion in him that quite simply can't be brushed aside or, at its core, attributed to primarily selfish motive. But conversely you can't reduce him to 'good really, because...' either, as that doesn't give appropriate weight to some of the inexcusable things he knowingly did, and didn't need to do, and did primarily for dishonest self-gain at the expense of others. You can't simply pile up all his actions and judge his character as either good or bad according to their net weight. Therefore, because he's both and neither at the same time, he challenges the viewer to dare to love without judging, hold appropriately to account without hating, forgive without denying or excusing, and hope with realistic rather than naive expectation. That's true love, in the sense that it knows and fully takes into account what someone has done wrong and what their motives are, and yet can't be torn apart by these things. What worthy life lessons for a soap to teach - if only we could learn to love people around us in such a way. What a privileged actor to have such a character to portray. Successfully portrayals of such a character don't come ten-a-penny in fiction.
Love it when Cain shows his heart. He really does love Aaron. Amazing performances by Jeff Hordley and Danny Miller.
