I honestly feel bad for Aaron during this time, it’s bad enough he became paranoid in January and late 2016 when Rebecca came back, but him being married with Robert who was becoming a dad, not surprising he started cutting again as it’s a whole load of pressure and he must have felt left out, being lied to 24/7. Who can actually be in a relationship with someone who cheated on you and they would end up becoming a parent.
I've just started watching this I love seeing Aaron & Robert you can see that they love each other no matter how much they hurt each other. They always seemed to work things out & they can't handle not being in each other's lives. For what I remember did Aaron tell Robert that they where done I understand he was in jail when he said that. As you can see Robert was so torn apart what Aaron said to him. He truly thought they where over & he was hurt he needed someone & of all people it was Rebecca!!
Aaron told Robert when he went to visit him prison for Robert to leave him alone to deal with taking spice. Because of that, Robert felt the hurt and pain as Aaron does not want him to try and help him get out of prison; Robert tried and persuaded Aaron to not take any or have anything to do with spice but, he totally failed since Aaron did not want to listen to a word he had said. Prior to that, Robert got drunk in the Mill and texted Rebecca to come and find him (presumably he needs someone like her to talk to). Accidentally, he kissed, slept with her and got her pregnant. In this scene, Aaron cannot handle the relationship between him and Robert, most of all, cannot handle seeing Rebecca present every time which implies he has not gotten over what Robert has done. Cutting himself is the only way for him to deal with the situation rather than figuring out what to do next. Aaron should be angry and upset and he should back and cut off their relationship for good but, would he really do that to Robert, who he love very much? He did not even use the piece of glass Rob has given him to cut him, showing he does not have the courage in him to hurt Robert but, he can to himself, I know the reason why he did it but, the behind reason? What Robert has done was completely out of order, I totally get that and understand Aaron's reactions however, Aaron has to let Robert make it right for both of them, to save their relationship before it goes downhill or gets even worse than what they currently have.
so sad and such amazing scenes by both of them and aaron finally being honest with robert but how can they come back from this and still be together robron best thing about emmerdale
unbelievable acting by Danny and Ryan.. the hurting of Aaron and desperateness of Robert just pinches my heart.. so real.. the story going against this relationship but at least they are being truthful to each other about their feelings.. that is definitely relationship goal.. great work !
Robert, there are some things you just can't fix. It is too much for Aaron. You just have to accept that and let him go. This is so heartbreaking to watch.

I'm glad Aaron finally admitted that he isn't okay with the kid. I was extremely unrealistic for him to be okay. Him stating that he hates the kid is okay and he is entitled to feel that way. Rebecca knew exactly what she was doing the night of the incident. I think it's disgusting what Rebecca did to Rob. I don't think Rob should be involved at all. I also find it really disturbing how Rebecca won't take no for answer. Rob said he doesn't want to be involved, so Rebecca needs to respect that. Aaron shouldn't have to readjust his life or accept the kid because Rebecca decided it was okay to be a home wrecker. It's disrespectful to expect Aaron to have to or Rob to have to. I don't know why so many people basically co-sign Rebecca crap. Rebecca was positively over come with joy to tell Rob she is pregnant and it's a boy. Then continue on to say we are having a boy. No sweetheart, your having a boy. Any involvement from Robert just allows her to live in her fantasy longer. That their a family. That also co-signs all her behavior since she arrived. It tells her it's okay to do what you did. I also felt like she should have had a abortion. It would have been the right thing to do. Instead of flaunting your betrayal in Aaron's face. I'm glad it's out in the open now.

Honestly, killing off Rebecca would fix everything. I think it's the constant threat of Rebecca that disturbs Aaron. Her having a connection to Robert he can never have. Knowing Rebecca, it seems likely she'll continue to use that to make attempts at a relationship with Robert. Victoria, as annoying as she is, is more obsessed with this baby than with Rebecca imo. If Rebecca died during childbirth, Aaron wouldn't have a shrew constantly using the baby to get at his husband, Victoria could be a mother figure, though God help the child in that case, and Robron might finally get back to how it should be.
Why should Robron leave the village just because of that woman? Her family are leaving so hopefully she wont be staying either. Cant understand Robert just taking Bex's word that he is the father.

I can't see Aaron suddenly turning around and going. Hey actually I thought about this, and now I talked with my therapist. (Please don't let it be the incompetent one who told him to just walk away when he got angry) and now I'm totally fine with junior being in our lives. And Ian is not stupid enough to actually break up one of the most popular couples ever, for long. So I'm thinking they break up for a while, and then Rebecca either misscaries or, suprise it's Ross.
I have watched these scenes so many times now it is not normal. I have come to a conclusion though. The writers will never let them be happy for long. They are too good at scenes like these.
I actually do not like Robert but I love aaron so much. BTW you should not do what Robert did to aaron saying that aaron should cut him. Why would you say that to someone who self harm.
He said that to Aaron because he wanted him to realize what self harming really is. Aaron couldn’t cut Robert because no matter what he was feeling he couldn’t stand the idea of him being hurt. In turn Robert feels the same way every time Aaron does it to himself. He knew that the reason Aaron was cutting himself was him so he wanted Aaron to finally learn to deal with his emotions externally instead of internally. Aaron’s self hatred has been a long battle in his life and Robert wanted him to finally see that it’s not himself he should be hating but the people who have hurt him. For example when Robert brought up Gordon that is obviously someone who had repeatedly hurt Aaron in more ways than one and it’s unimaginable. Now instead of hating Gordon he turned all of that hatred and pain onto himself always has. Robert was the one that hurt him this time so he wanted Aaron to finally learn to take it out on someone other than himself. Maybe it wasn’t the best way to do so but he got through to him and that’s all that matters. Over the years I have had my issues with Robert and I think that in some ways he can be very toxic but and I do mean but I truly believe that despite that he loves Aaron and has proven on multiple occasions he would do anything for him. He may come off as selfish sometimes and he’s done some horrible things but he is broken in his own way. Aaron’s broken pieces are more obvious because he wears his heart on his sleeve and that’s what we love about him. But Robert is different he hides his broken pieces and they are shown in the wrong way sometimes but Aaron has seen past that and loves him for it. Robert struggled coming out too because his father forced him to suppress the fact that he was Bisexual so he hated that part of himself until Aaron finally was the person that forced him to accept it. He was also abused by his father if I remember correctly...don’t quote me on that part 🙂 but I’m not saying he hasn’t done some horrible things in the past but he’s a lot different now and he is constantly trying to better himself I’m so sorry for the long message 😅 I just wanted to give my thoughts on the subject I completely understand what you were saying and I am in no way trying to argue I just wanted to put my two cents in 😊

Right now I don't like Victoria . She just assumes Aaron is okay with the situation and robert too . I like how they are showing self harming doesn't just go away . It it very realistic. People have left him multiple times his mom , his family , raped three times almost was raped a fourth , bullied for being gay and for being Gordon son , attempted to kill himself twice , the second one was when Andy tried to Kill himself Aaron was thinking about and was going to do it , first ever boyfriend he had to kill , felt guilty about that , self harmed because of that ,was away from his family for 2 years , done community service , been in jail 3 times , was tortured in jail , 2nd time he was in there he thought about killing himself, everything with the trials , almost died like 4 times in his life , over ran himself because of his guilt of Katie , cut himself for punishment because he thought what Gordon did to him was his fault , took drugs , people don't pay attention to him sometimes , his mom didn't listen to him a lot , not close to paddy , people think he fine But he isn't , people have been so hard on him, Jackson dad blamed him for what happened to Jackson , his birthdays and Christmas being ruined , mental health is getting worse ,not sure why he hits people or why he self harms , has so many scars , flinched when Robert touched him, has been sad depressed since the age of like 7, has so many health issues like anxiety , ptsd,depression ,panic attack . I think he has borderline personality disorder, I read the signs and it seems like he has it ,do you think he has bipolar ? I mean I am probable missing out so more horrible things he has been thorough but that is what I can remember at the moment Danny miller does a brilliant job at portraying some with mental issues . I have read some comments and people are like Aaron should stop having mental health issues and people are saying he just get over his mental health . This is being so rude to people that actually deal with self harming , depression and etc . Self harming is something that is not easy to just stop . In their mind it is a way to help with the pain . Honestly, killing off Rebecca would fix everything. I think it's the constant threat of Rebecca that disturbs Aaron. Her having a connection to Robert he can never have. Knowing Rebecca, it seems likely she'll continue to use that to make attempts at a relationship with Robert. Victoria, as annoying as she is, is more obsessed with this baby than with Rebecca imo. If Rebecca died during childbirth, Aaron wouldn't have a shrew constantly using the baby to get at his husband, Victoria could be a mother figure, though God help the child in that case, and Robron might finally get back to how it should be.
Self harm is a drug an addiction that is hard to get over take it from someone trying to get over it

I have watched these scenes so many times now it is not normal. I have come to a conclusion though. The writers will never let them be happy for long. They are too good at scenes like these.
I actually do not like Robert but I love aaron so much. BTW you should not do what Robert did to aaron saying that aaron should cut him. Why would you say that to someone who self harm.
He said that to Aaron because he wanted him to realize what self harming really is. Aaron couldn’t cut Robert because no matter what he was feeling he couldn’t stand the idea of him being hurt. In turn Robert feels the same way every time Aaron does it to himself. He knew that the reason Aaron was cutting himself was him so he wanted Aaron to finally learn to deal with his emotions externally instead of internally. Aaron’s self hatred has been a long battle in his life and Robert wanted him to finally see that it’s not himself he should be hating but the people who have hurt him. For example when Robert brought up Gordon that is obviously someone who had repeatedly hurt Aaron in more ways than one and it’s unimaginable. Now instead of hating Gordon he turned all of that hatred and pain onto himself always has. Robert was the one that hurt him this time so he wanted Aaron to finally learn to take it out on someone other than himself. Maybe it wasn’t the best way to do so but he got through to him and that’s all that matters. Over the years I have had my issues with Robert and I think that in some ways he can be very toxic but and I do mean but I truly believe that despite that he loves Aaron and has proven on multiple occasions he would do anything for him. He may come off as selfish sometimes and he’s done some horrible things but he is broken in his own way. Aaron’s broken pieces are more obvious because he wears his heart on his sleeve and that’s what we love about him. But Robert is different he hides his broken pieces and they are shown in the wrong way sometimes but Aaron has seen past that and loves him for it. Robert struggled coming out too because his father forced him to suppress the fact that he was Bisexual so he hated that part of himself until Aaron finally was the person that forced him to accept it. He was also abused by his father if I remember correctly...don’t quote me on that part 🙂 but I’m not saying he hasn’t done some horrible things in the past but he’s a lot different now and he is constantly trying to better himself

I really hate this poor Aaron...it is totally fine for Aaron to feel that way about this baby I agree with another comment that said it was unrealistic for him to be ok with this situation because it really is...I really hate Rebecca and Victoria now constantly in Aaron's face, talking about the baby, asking for money and generally trying to get Robert involved when he doesn't want to. People have left him multiple times his mom , his family , raped three times almost was raped a fourth , bullied for being gay and for being Gordon son , attempted to kill himself twice , the second one was when Andy tried to Kill himself Aaron was thinking about and was going to do it , first ever boyfriend he had to kill , felt guilty about that , self harmed because of that ,was away from his family for 2 years , done community service , been in jail 3 times , was tortured in jail , 2nd time he was in there he thought about killing himself, everything with the trials , almost died like 4 times in his life , over ran himself because of his guilt of Katie , cut himself for punishment because he thought what Gordon did to him was his fault , took drugs , people don't pay attention to him sometimes , his mom didn't listen to him a lot , not close to paddy , people think he fine But he isn't , people have been so hard on him, Jackson dad blamed him for what happened to Jackson , his birthdays and Christmas being ruined , mental health is getting worse ,not sure why he hits people or why he self harms , has so many scars , flinched when Robert touched him, has been sad depressed since the age of like 7, has so many health issues like anxiety , ptsd,depression ,panic attack . I think he has borderline personality disorder, I read the signs and it seems like he has it ,do you think he has bipolar ? I mean I am probable missing out so more horrible things he has been thorough but that is what I can remember at the moment Danny miller does a brilliant job at portraying some with mental issues . I have read some comments and people are like Aaron should stop having mental health issues and people are saying he just get over his mental health . This is being so rude to people that actually deal with self harming , depression and etc . Self harming is something that is not easy to just stop . In their mind it is a way to help with the pain . I do agree that Aaron need help with his self harming because has been self harming since 2011 off and on . That is so sad to think about
I would understand the money issue if it was say Kerry. It takes two to tango, you helped make the child, you help to pay for it. But the Whites are filthy rich. No way does Rebecca eer have to worry about money.

You can see in this clip that he was torn up about the fact that he even had the thought and Robert even said “that’s not you” he knew that if it really came down to it Aaron didn’t really mean it. Things are said when people are in pain that don’t always represent who they truly are and not everything is black and white this is the perfect example of that
