@fab___z (thats 3 _ ) I've been shooting film for a little over a year now and I've been trying to find my style! I just love taking my camera everywhere I go and shoot scenes that I find interesting. Also, supporting Joey's stand on gear, some of my favorite photos came out from some of the lower end cameras I own!
I'm working hard on the business side of things (selling cameras) for the holiday weekend... trying to get back on the regular uploads this coming week!!!
@jgofoto_ switched from casual digital dude to obsessed film dude about a year ago. Want to start shooting more people just doing their thing & landscapes. Just picked up a F100 but have been using a ricoh KR5super & a few different point and shoots. HP5 has been my jam still experimenting with colour film.
I've decided to turn my back on digital and go full film like the old days when I first started back in early 2000's. Iam sick of hearing about gear chasing and full frame this and megapixels that. I want a pure experience and you get that with film.
@sambthomason I’m a big fan of anything thrifted or cheap. My favorite film is Kodak color plus 200 super affordable and I really like the color it produces. I shoot mainly with a Pentax K1000 and a Yashica T4 (both thrifted). I spend most of my time outside so I focus on shooting landscapes and the people I enjoy them with.
@trevy021 I love shooting street scenes and scenes in nature! I'm a hybrid shooter, using digital only for shoots other than my personal work. I love b&w and I've been considering shooting shooting b&w film, but I'm having a hard time letting go of colour!

Mine is @jabberlily and I've only just gotten into film this year and absolutely love it. I fell in love when I bought a disposable in Japan, and coming back home to Australia, found my Grandad's Canon Pellix QL in the cupboard. Since then I've shot a tonne of rolls and had them developed and scanned and am looking to start learning how to develop myself. But theres something that has stopped me from posting any of my film shots on my insta. Maybe its because I feel the pressure of posting photos as soon as possible, that the insta(nt) of instagram has made me feel that posting film photography from weeks ago is too out of date with the fast paced media I see on my feed. Or maybe its because I love some of the shots I have suprised myself with on film that to have it scrutinised on social media is scary. Either way I've planned out which shots to post and after I post my obligatory (is this the social pressure again?) birthday photos since yesterday was my birthday, I will be chucking my film photos up soon. Sorry for this long winded comment but I thought I would explain why I comment on a film photography video without any film photography on my account lol and in hopes that someone else understands the hestitation I have too 😊
@b0balagurak just about everything I come across, neon is my fav. Favorite camera: Pentax ME, shot an AE1, have Zorki C, Instamatic, Tourist II, Canon 105 zoom. Favorite film: Colorplus and ultramax Interests: looking at a few cameras like Pentax 645, Elan 7E, F1 with L lenses.
rufus_mcdonald My absolute favourite camera is my Nikon F2, though I do enjoy the process of shooting my Mamiya RB67 when it comes to medium format. Just got a few rolls of Ektachrome E100 delivered and I’m looking forward to dipping my toes into the world of slide film.
@matteopedone_ just got in medium format with a Bronica ETRs and I’m really enjoying it so far. I’m also trying to improve in portraits, so any kind of feedback would be appreciated!
t.b.photo on Instagram. Well I shoot a “wide” selection of film cameras, 35mm and 120 roll film. Though since I moved I have been shooting more digitally since I need to figure out a new darkroom setup. Anyway, enjoy Kodak Ektar and T-MAX, love Ilford and Fomapan among others, and exited about the new “old” Ektachrome. I like photographing documentary “town life” or what can be seen as “contemporary society ” together with concert photography.

@e39nate literally started posting to it last night, but i've been getting all my older photos uploaded, so you can be my 12th follower Favorite camera: Nikon fg, but i have a quite a few others haha. Favorite film: kodak Ultramax, fuji c200, ilford hp5+ I'm fairly novice, and I live in Maine u.s. the middle of nowhere so i just shoot whatever i can
I can relate to living in the middle of nowhere, and praise Fuji c200 for being readily available in pharmacies. Everything else I have to get shipped in, we had a camera shop in town but the old man running it passed away and his son didn't want to move to the mountains to run it, so he closed it down. Now the closest place to buy anything strictly photo related is two hours north or south. Stay Broke Shoot Film comrade. -Shane
@@amplifierheadache right, it's nice in a lot of ways, but i have to keep a steady supply coming, or else i'll end up having to wait a few days for film(or spend 6$ a roll at some wal-mart or something). I think there is a photo shop a couple towns over, but i can't imagine anything there is worth it. I'd love to support local shops, but it's hard to constitute spending 6 or 7$ a roll on fuji superia, when i could get portra or any number of professional grade films for the similar price online, and i only have to wait a few days to receive it. Shooting film can already be expensive enough for someone like me with an itchy shutter finger.
@@smokeybear390 Definitely, it is nice to be able to walk into a shop and pick up a roll or two, but the prices are what usually keep most of us at bay. But if I really needed that roll today in hand, sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet and shell out $3 or$4 more than what it's worth. I eat through film like it was caramels. -Shane
Thanks Joey for letting us share our IG accounts, great way to grow and get in touch with the film shooters community ! @cormierphoto 99.9% black and white film shooter. Mostly portraits and landscape with occasional street photography. I mostly shoot medium format using my trusted Bronica SQ-A
Just got back into film photography so my handle is @tjpiks. I am trying to find inspiration in the different formats I use. Photography is like therapy for me whether it is film or digital. Halfframe shots have caught my eye lately as well as nikon cameras in general.
I don't use instagram but I do use flickr from time to time, this is my stream: www.flickr.com/photos/140886377@N02/ I've been learning a bit of photography by myself for about a year now, decided to learn with film and haven't left it since then, I normally use my beautiful Minolta X-700 but I love getting new cameras and try them out. Film I use and love, Kodak Proimage 100, Kodak Ultramax 400, those and Fuji C200 are the only ones I can get my hands on, but as soon as they restock them the fly off the shelf, haven't seen C200 in over 8 months but I do know they are still selling it, I'm kind of scared of B/W, just can't imagine a monochromatic world even tho I love the results, I've been trying it out a bit more but haven't developed the rolls.

Hey this is a great idea. I'm @The6millionpman on Instagram. I love to shoot a mixture of medium format landscape and travel photography (especially photo's taken in Italy as this is my favourite place to visit and badly speak my poor attempt at the language) as well as a lot of Polaroids and street photography. Favourite film is probably Ektar, just love the punchy colours especially in images taken in the Autumn. I'm currently in Italy shooting solely film so my feed from the last week is just phone snapshots of where I have been since, well I don't carry dev kit around with me in my suitcase :)
Loving this series,I follow a lot of the suggestions if they aren't already on my radar! Instagram @ashjk15 I mostly shoot Polaroids or 35mm. My go to cameras are my SX70 or my Pentax ME Super. Not only does shooting film help me slow down, my friends and family enjoy that they have to wait to see photos too. When I scan,I don't overly clean my negatives to keep the old school film look.

@mr.photography_boy - I shoot with a canon a1 and a ton of other cameras, I love to shoot mostly b&w and maybe some color here and there mainly because of tangibility. Meaning that the photos we take on film dont suddenly disappear when a hard drive dies, with film, no worries. I honestly want to get into shooting people skateboarding with them a fisheye lens. With canon and nikon they're damn right expensive. Especially film lenses😭. Thanks for making these videos and hope to see another video. 👌👌

@filmlovephotography and I love to push hp5+ at 1600 ASA. Hug from Portugal.
that's awesome. you seem like you have a great thing going on with the community! gave you a follow
@@wandawanda5962 Thank you. 🙏
You and I both think Nico is taking the Reflex to Florida, love what you're doing in the community, Keep up the good fight! -Shane
@@amplifierheadache Thank you. 🙏 If we're both right in the camera maybe we still get a film for each of us.
@@filmlovephotography It wouldn't be a bad way either way. I haven't had the opportunity to shoot the new Ektachrome either, I shot some back when it was still in production and it was a good film. It's a pretty exciting time for film. -Shane
@charlie.alcaraz I shoot mostly color film. A lot of candid scenes, portraits and cars
@mitchellxmoussa
mostly street photography, and i just shot my first couple of medium format rolls
@jjcwphotos
We love film and are starting to learn printing and development at home with a black and white enlarger
@collectedcuu - I've only been shooting film for a year but loving it and love trying out loads of different cameras!
rad! ;love those empty scenes you photograph!
@@AwesomeCameras Thanks, Joey! Love the channel btw keep up the great content!
When will you be back bro??? Hahaha. Missing the uploads! You are awesome anyway.
I'm working hard on the business side of things (selling cameras) for the holiday weekend... trying to get back on the regular uploads this coming week!!!
@fbtcameraguy I like shooting mostly range finders, ones with red dots, and street photography on black and white film stock
yoooo!! what up dude! actually gonna be coming thru SLO today!
@isaacninetofive I'm interested in colorful film/polaroid photos of the overlooked moments in life.
@sambthomason
I’m a big fan of anything thrifted or cheap.
My favorite film is Kodak color plus 200 super affordable and I really like the color it produces. I shoot mainly with a Pentax K1000 and a Yashica T4 (both thrifted). I spend most of my time outside so I focus on shooting landscapes and the people I enjoy them with.
yesss, love a good thrift find!!!
@trevy021
I love shooting street scenes and scenes in nature! I'm a hybrid shooter, using digital only for shoots other than my personal work. I love b&w and I've been considering shooting shooting b&w film, but I'm having a hard time letting go of colour!
@larryleone I shoot a ton of film and I plan on doing the same stuff (fashion beauty) on film.
Missed the Ilford Photo series on skateboarders and film photography! ;)
I know!! people have been telling about those! Ill have to put them in the next episode!
AwesomeCameras - Great, just saw another new Jason Lee interview (besides Ilford) - uploaded too it’s pretty awesome as well 👏

Favorite film: Colorplus and ultramax
Interests: looking at a few cameras like Pentax 645, Elan 7E, F1 with L lenses.
rufus_mcdonald My absolute favourite camera is my Nikon F2, though I do enjoy the process of shooting my Mamiya RB67 when it comes to medium format. Just got a few rolls of Ektachrome E100 delivered and I’m looking forward to dipping my toes into the world of slide film.
love the patterns and textures you photograph!!
*@barefut_* - Hai! i love Kodak, Adventures & parsley 😊
I have followed you.

IG: @ccbloodworth. I like Tmax 100 and Gold 200. Camera doesn't really matter too much, but I like my X-300 and my mju-1.
It's impossible to not get pumped to shoot stuff with new vids from Matt and Ed. Aows has been an awesome new channel to check out. Gorgeous imagery.
Thanks for another great video, Joey.
@douglasfur365 I'm a conceptual portrait photographer. I shoot mostly on whatever Nikon 35mm I have at the time... Hasselblad 500cm, but my current challenge is stepping up my Polaroid game.
really great work! loving the Lazy Jane series!!
Big Joe whats happenin? Hey I shoot film also and recently reviewed the budget BW film Ultrafine Xtreme on my channel, who do I gotta bribe to get a shout out on the Awesome cameras show??
Just subscribed!!! I'll try to get you in there soon!! ;)

heck ya! keep film alive ;)
@carloscbarreiro I'm a Filipino who shoots with a Minolta X-500 mostly. I love a good travel photo and I shoot a lot of photos of my dog, Charlie
@benoitsaid - I don't know how to define my style but i like shooting architectural stuff and overall aesthetically pleasing images. If someone could help me define my style that would help i guess
You have a style only Benoit can have. That's what makes us all our own photographers. I do like your architectural shots, and your skateboarding shots....and your airplane shots....ok, I like it all. -Shane
Love your photos, man! I also appreciate that you have two sides of like more abstract stuff with shapes and lines and then longboarding as well. My board is kind of mediocre, but it's still a good time :)
@craig_prentis 4x5, 120 + 35mm mostly landscapes. Check out @danwoodphoto too. Great vid again Joey.
thanks so much! just subbed to your channel!! keep the videos coming!
Will do, thanks for the sub!
I am at. @olafalaska I love shooting with Minolta SRT cameras and I have a Pentax are than ham rolling black and white film for a bit and I also shoot a lot of Kodak ultramax love the channel
@jugerardo on Instagram. I like to say that I shoot street photography mainly but I think it is a mix of styles in reality. My gear: a Nikon F3, minolta hi-matic 7sii and an Olympus XA, I want to experiment a bit more with medium format so I got a Mamiya C330
@e39nate literally started posting to it last night, but i've been getting all my older photos uploaded, so you can be my 12th follower
Favorite camera: Nikon fg, but i have a quite a few others haha.
Favorite film: kodak Ultramax, fuji c200, ilford hp5+
I'm fairly novice, and I live in Maine u.s. the middle of nowhere so i just shoot whatever i can
I can relate to living in the middle of nowhere, and praise Fuji c200 for being readily available in pharmacies.
-Shane
gave you a follow. Love "shot, developed, scanned by me"!
yea man! good stuff ! keep shooting!!!
@ibrahimihr i shoot with Nikon FM2 and from indonesian 😁
@_david.santamaria_ I shoot a lot of rock climbing and sometimes surfing on an AE1 and a Nikonos V. Yewwww 🤘🏽

rad! just checked that out! love those colors... cant wait to shoot it myself
Halfframe shots have caught my eye lately as well as nikon cameras in general.
nice! been shooting some half frame lately too! its so great!! keep shooting!! :)

I don't use instagram but I do use flickr from time to time, this is my stream: www.flickr.com/photos/140886377@N02/
I've been learning a bit of photography by myself for about a year now, decided to learn with film and haven't left it since then, I normally use my beautiful Minolta X-700 but I love getting new cameras and try them out.
@jomhod100 overexposed portra 400’s of Tibet is my latest contribution to the film community. Shot on my trusty Mamiya 6.
damn! those shots of Tibet are awesome!!
AwesomeCameras Thanks a lot 😊✨
@analogue_riga just started a new channel to post all my film photos of the city I love and live in (Riga, Latvia). I have a big archive of photos I started to make back in 2009 and I want to share them with the world.
nice! followed. Latvia has always been somewhere I fell like I need to explore
Great series, Joey! Keep it up.
You already know, but mine is @Tyler_Rice. I love to document everyday events and my life with my girlfriend. I just picked up a Leica M2 so I have a lot of film photos I’ll be posting soon
yeaaaa buddy!!!
Found this account while strolling around on Instagram. It's called "Satellitejune". Give it a look!
@flavius.ionita Go have a look. It's good
My instagram is @the_alex_scene I like everything about photography from new and old cameras to travel photography and photojournalism.
Loving this series,I follow a lot of the suggestions if they aren't already on my radar!
Instagram @ashjk15
I mostly shoot Polaroids or 35mm. My go to cameras are my SX70 or my Pentax ME Super.
Not only does shooting film help me slow down, my friends and family enjoy that they have to wait to see photos too. When I scan,I don't overly clean my negatives to keep the old school film look.
congrats on the wedding! love those honeymoon polaroids!!!
@wiz_kali - aloha, my current passion project is shooting surf photos with my contax g2, don’t hate me. Haha.
haha, no hate here!~ great photos! do you have a housing for that G2?

yes! hes great! will get that in the next episode!
Revolt_Evolve I started thinking about photography more seriously after I watched Travis Mortz videos. It was around the time that I was preparing to be a father, and I remembered all the film photos MY parents had taken of my childhood. So it only made sense that I document my child’s life the same way. And they’ll be around for his kids when he becomes a parent as well.
thanks for watching mr photography boy!!!
I shoot whatever I have on hand, film, phone, or digital. Recently I’ve been shooting a lot on analog, mainly on expired film. It’s all mix and match on my feed, check it out if you have a chance, @shootitfirst thanks!
instagram.com/jsfloriani 35mm and medium format....bit of digital as well
@tapiompitkaranta My instagram is 100% film, home processed and scanned, both b&w and C-41, soon some E-6 also! I've been shooting Orwo n74+ lately, which doesn't seem to be very well known. I shoot a lot with my Minolta SLRs, 120 film with a Yashica Mat TLR.
Nice! loving those landscapes!!!

I shoot on mainly my Olympus XA and my Canon A-1 but also have a couple of medium format cameras. My instagram is @bahulife it’s a mixture of everyday things that catch my eye and street photography. love those architecture shots!! I need to shoot more of that myself...
