Cool vid as always!! The last camera I sold is the Wista 45SP with 6x9 film back.. Too heavy for my liking... My eventually go with an Intrepid camera...
Great episode !! I just sold my Canon Prima Mini II --- I sold it because I totally love my Olympus Infinity Stylus 35/3.5 and I thought it was redundant. Great camera thou... Cheers from Costa Rica!
These videos are great, please keep them coming. I totally agree about Paul C. Smith, his videos and story telling are at another level. I also really enjoy AOWS, he has a unique style and like how he composes a square format. Haven't sold a camera in a long time. Last camera purchased is an Olympus om2. I wanted a smaller camera and the zuiko lenses are awesome. Thanks again for the video.
Nice video as usual Joey. Last camera I sold, wasn't really sold, but traded. I traded a Kodak Instamatic X-15 for a Vivitar PN2011, buddy of mine had tons of them and wanted a X-15, I had tons of those and wanted a PN2011, the trade was pretty chill, good to have friends in the analog world.
It was a rather hilarious exchange, we kicked around the idea of typing up a legal contract and getting his mother to notarize it (she is a notary at a local law-firm) but decided that it was fine to waste our own time, but not hers ha ha.
Awesome recommendations as always! I just sold my Yashica Mat 124-G because I never really got used to it. I captured some amazing images with it, but I want to move to something a bit more professional nonetheless!
Man, I love these. Thanks for keeping on making 'em bro. Defo checking all these out. Last camera I sold was a Canon SL1 because I upgraded my digital for better video purposes. Went up to a Sony a6300.
Sold a Canon AE-1 Program and 50mm lens. Mostly to fund additional accessories I needed for my new intrepid 4x5 mk3 and darkroom. Also, I just bought a Yashica Mat 124G today. Looking forward to trying it out :)
didn't sell it, but I traded a mamiya rz67 for a leica minilux. I didn't like lugging around the rz and I wanted a nice point & shoot. win/win. ended up getting a hassie 500c to replace the mamiya. never looked back.
Not just any lab, but a lab by Jack White's record company! The guy from the White Stripes' record company is a huge analog enthusiast, he even has a food truck that sells vinyl records :D this could potentially be really great for film bringing more analog enthusiasts to the realm of film
Awesome video! Sold my Nikon F3, because I accidentally ruined a few rolls by not paying attention to the film count and trying to advance it past 36. The F3 (at least my F3) doesn't have a hard stop after 36, and so I just tore through the roll trying to force advance it (doesn't take much force). Out of frustration, I sold it, but now regret it.
Last few cameras I’ve sold where some Polaroids and some point and shoots Pentax’s, Canons, Etc. Trying to get some money to get a TLR camera. Never shot any medium format before, plus it’s a little tricky to fine a place to develop here in the great white north. Lol but a photo lab opened up about 4 months ago and they do medium format!! Was super stoked! So yeah that’s what I’m trying to buy and sell for!
@@dizlecki I shoot more "documentary style" with some landscape but if you're gonna be doing mostly portraits and land/city scapes the RB is perfect. I ended up getting a Mamiya 6 which works perfectly for me
Just done the same. Currently selling all my digital stuff right down to the memory cards and getting into film. My x-t1 is worth nothing now but the Nikon f100 and canon a1 I have just got will go up in value and will be a more enjoyable experience to shoot with.
Don’t know if I caught this in your news before... but don’t miss Ilford Photo’s series on skateboard film photography! New episode Nov 1st! Last was awesome: th-cam.com/video/UYpJQoLkCdA/w-d-xo.html
Dave is building the TH-cam film reference Bible one video at a time. Public teaching for the win.

I think you made the right choice :)

next level storytelling indeed!! Wish he put them out daily!
Another great video. Thanks Joey. Last camera I sold was a Polaroid Land Camera. I sell them in my shop.
Nice! What's the shop?
AwesomeCameras it’s vintagegotham. You reposted a bunch of our items on insta. Thanks again!!!

the lowest value camera trade ever made ;) love those pn2011 thou!!

I plan on it! Thanks for watching!

Nice! you just 1up'ed me! I'm still slugging along with the A6000. But hey, it gets the job done :)
AwesomeCameras absolutely it does. It's still a really good video option.
I've never sold a camera before, I've only ever given them away. The last two I gave away were a Rebel G and a Nikon N65.
Dig the new series, btw.
That's a good policy! Spread the love!
i’m a fan of film photography, but also of your mustache
Haha, thanks!

awesome! how are you liking that Intrepid? Been eyeballing the 8x10 myself...

I like it , honest , curious , dynamic .- Good references .-
Dude! Did you hear about thirdmanrecords developing film??
I hadn't heard of that. Good to have more labs coming into the mix :)

oh damn, It probably shouldn't have been doing that. I'd imagine an F3 is sophisticated enough to stop on its own without tearing your film.
yeah that makes sense, i was thinking it might be just the camera I owned. If so, I feel sorry to the person I sold it to (ebay).

Nice!! get in that lab with some medium format asap!!!
Last camera I sold was an RB67, great camera but it was too bulky and slow for how I like to shoot
Ya man, those things are huuuuge!
What do you like shooting? I'm thinking of buying the RB67 for portraits and landscapes/cityscapes
@@dizlecki I shoot more "documentary style" with some landscape but if you're gonna be doing mostly portraits and land/city scapes the RB is perfect. I ended up getting a Mamiya 6 which works perfectly for me
When are you guys going to be back outside?
We get outside all the time! we've got 3 videos in the works that were shot 'outside' :)
sold my nikon d810 to focus on film
Amen!!!
Well then, you’re a proper numnuts, ain’t you mate.
Jas Mann a fist full of cash for an unused camera that will be outdated in a year? wise decision. go annoy someone else.
Just done the same. Currently selling all my digital stuff right down to the memory cards and getting into film. My x-t1 is worth nothing now but the Nikon f100 and canon a1 I have just got will go up in value and will be a more enjoyable experience to shoot with.
ggsg is from indonesia🙏 cheers😁
Yesss. I just couldn't remember where they were when I was filming!
went to sell my Olympus em5 M2 someone traded me a gold contax t2 for it instead. I did not need the Olympus anymore since i had a sony a7r2.

Never sold a camera(or any piece of gear).......
#notahoarder
Answer: It was a Mamiya 1000s. I just never had much luck with it and decided I wanted to try 6x6 so I swapped it out for a Bronica SQ.
Nice! he bronicas are great. Those older Lenses were made by Nikon, very good glass!
Waist level finder is soooo awesome too!! (I could never track one down for my 1000s)
