What a great interview! So good to hear Richard discuss the character of Roger in more detail and explain what motivates him. Looking forward to the rest of this season, Richard is the perfect actor for Roger.
WOW - this guy is the whole package - articulate, charming, easy on the eye, balanced and modest - can't wait to see in more stuff. Great actor (please watch "Thirteen" on BBC iPlayer if you can access it - little warning the subject matter is disturbing - Rankin plays a huge part in the tension & compassion and a whole roller coaster of emotions of the 3 episode mini-series)
With Richard Rankin they have made a great choice, not only do I like the caracter but he is a top actor, so sensitive in his expressions and moves. He does not overdo it. It is a pity that I do not like Sophie Skelton the same way, for me she still does not match the caracter in the books, maybe it is just the physical thing but for me she is to soft. It is Rogers part to be the soft one, she shoul be the rock. But there is still a lot to come, i still have my hopes on her.

Love his voice and his singing
Very interesting. I love hearing the actors, writers, directors etc talking about the episodes.

Roger starts out a wide eyes innocent and ends up an awsome hardened warrior
wow, was he acting? does he really take his role that seriously? if so, bravo Richard...but geeze, its just a role!
